Those long losses can be tough to take. A couple of weeks ago, I lost won 7-6 (4), 4-6, 5-7. We went three hours on the dot -- lots of long rallies. I was up 2-0, 4-2 and 5-4 in the final set and couldn't put the guy away. My worst loss (there have been many), but a couple of years ago, I kept blowing leads from one set and multiple games up in the second set. It got to be a mental thing with me. What started it was a match in which I led 6-2, 4-1, 0-40. I lost that game, the set and, ultimately, the match in a third-set tiebreaker after having had match points in games 10, 12 and the tie-breaker!

This summer during competition I played a three-and-a-half-hour match in the freakin sun, it was really hot, so I tried to take as much time between points as I could... the final score was: 36 75 64
I was behind 05 in the second set and 14 in the third... that is why the match lasted that long!

my first singles match...
ultimaetly my last singles match
6-4, 2-6, 6-7(4)
started the match at 4.... and ended around 7:00
7-6(12) 5-7 6-4 and the kid was 3 years younger. I just had to win that. OMG i was so lucky. It lasted more then 4 hours. We went on court about 13:00 and when i looked at my watch drinking coke it was 17:41. I will never forget that one. After that match i had 8 matches losing streak, and since 15th of september last year i'm unbeaten all in straight sets, no tie-breaks at all 34 consecutive wins for me
