Can someone explain to me what exactly is wrong with Elena's shoulder? I've heard a lot about how she has some sort of an 'injury' with her right shoulder and that's part of the reason why she has an awkward service motion.

If she does have a shoulder injury, why hasn't she gotten it fixed? I hope it's not permanent :scared: Elena is far too good to go without at least one Slam victory in her career (or with a decent serve).

She's already gotten her shoulder fixed, it's just that when she had the injury she adjusted by making her service motion like the one we see today.

When she's on the practice courts she serves regularly, but nerves must get to her, because when she's playing she serves like that.

Does that help?

I agree with you, Elena's far too good a player to not improve.

Yes, that helped. Thanks a lot! :)

I never realised Elena had different serving motions during pratice and professional matches
