hey,
just wondering if anyone is going? I'd like to go but not sure, don't want to be waiting by myself and don't know what time to get there

i have the same feeling as you. I am yearning to go (because of the chance to get a centre court ticket) but cannot bear the idea of travelling alone and THEN waiting around like a lemon in the queue.

I'd be travelling from Bedford, hoping to arrive in the queue for around 8am.

Does anyone reckon that will be too late?

Anyone else thinking of going? A last-minute WTA World gathering, meeting outside Southfields tube station at about 8am?

normally, yes, but when there are about 11,000 available instead of the normal 500? that's 22 times as many centre court tickets available than usual. Do you advise getting there before 6am?

hi debra - thanks for researching the trains and for the offer. I've been thinking: the last time I went to Wimbledon I had got a little bit of sleep the night before but still felt totally awful and sick all day long. I really won't be able to manage the whole night as well as the whole day. I think I'll have to give it a miss and watch from my digi-box instead.

I hope you have a great day and survive the queuing experience - i'm sure there'll be loads of friendly faces in the queue and it will go in no time. at leats the gates open at 9am.

good luck!
