My agent called me today. The Fox people who brought you celebrity boxing a couple of years back are putting together another special. The long and short is they will pay me $100,000 to box Neely at Madison Square Garden. I'd love a piece of that bitch. I'm not concerned about the boxing thing even though I'm much older than she is, but this is a new career low for me. But let's face it, isn't my career over? I can only hold out for a Driving Miss Daisy role for so long and then it's time to throw in the towel. I've done Geritol ads, and my last movie role was playing the Tooth Fairy in When Darkness Falls, not exactly an Oscar-winning role. Playing a supernatural monster in a mask is so far away from my hey-days in the 1950's.

Celebrity boxing is really the bottom, though. But I could use the money. This Rosie O'Donnell musical the Six Wives is quality, but Rosie doesn't pay shit. I need to find out what Neely is being offered, those sneaky shits might try to pay her more under the table. I view TV as an inferior medium and I do not want to tarnish my reputation as the Queen of Broadway and Hollywood, but let's face it, a dame needs to make a buck. Hollywood won't take care of me, so I have to do something.

What should I do?
