I was the Tooth Fairy in When Darkness Falls. It was that or borrow on my home in Greenwich to pay my IRS bill. I did some William Castle crap in the 1960's. I played this one dame who chops off the heads of her husband and mistress in bed with an axe (or so the viewers think.....)then goes to the nuthouse. 20 years later, I get out of the nuthouse and move in with my daughter and heads to start to appear. It was pretty intense, but no DVD release. I played this other dame who gets out of a nuthouse and moves back with her husband, but her husband is trying to turn her nuts again. It was sold to me as some kind of "Gaslight" thing, but it sucked. It paid the bills, though. Neely did Amityville 4: The Evil Escapes. I have not gone that low, if I am going to appear in some crappy "B" horror movie, I will be in the first one, NOT the fourth one. Neely knows better than that.

I like creepy movies :scared: :D

The problem is, there are no truly creepy movies anymore :o Hitchcock's movies were far creepier than these new, full of blood productions

Is anyone into dark comedies? Serial Mom is great  Natural Born Killers, was too funny to be true ;) To Die For was cool too

I love them especially hellraiser (althiugh it would have been even better if the director would've kept the original "coil" music" which was abandoned because it was "too scary" )
japanese horrir (audishoon!), bad 60's 70s horror movies (giant spider invasion  )

the second version of "the invasion of the body snatchers"(the 70's version),
and all zombie movies, especially the "of the dead" trilogy :worship:

The Exoricst is classic. Poor Linda Blair got type cast after that and her career went sour. She did however play in another horor treat called Hell Night. I love it

I was offered the role of the Coach Jana in "The Slumber Party Massacre" but I turned it down.

TimBo
Jun 11th, 2004, 07:17 PM
Scream films were meant to be a send up of 80's cheese horror movies. Notice in the movies they always talk about the rules: cant have sex, no drugs or drinking etc. All the 80's slaher flicks had those rules in them, but no one ever figured it out. Also, the Drew Barrymore scene is CLASSIC in movie history in my opinion.

Yes Jack, Linda did do a spoof of The Exorcist called Repossed. It was very silly, but funny.

I did not want to reveal this, but what the hell. I was asked if I was interested in playing the one and only Mrs. Voorhees. The pay was too little, it was "location shooting" which I do not do, and Betsy Palmer was also in the running. Betsy Palmer is terrible, no way was I going to do a role where she was even on someone's mind.

Big mistake, I could be making a fortune now at conventions during the slow times.

Helen Lawson
Jun 11th, 2004, 08:35 PM
I played the Tooth Fairy, babe, and you are in real danger. The movie was b.s., too, the Tooth Fairy killed anyone, not just over baby teeth. And it is based on fact, too, people die all the time from the Tooth Fairy, they just cover it up. I am psychic, too, since I played the Tooth Fairy. I think she is nearby, in a dark corner, or in a closet, somewhere close.

If you see some guy in a sheet, he is NOT your boyfriend.
