That's a great upset... All the tennis world expected Van Der Vort to enter top-765 this year but with such results she may forget to enter the elite.

N. PITTS is already amongst the elite.

She won Orange Bowl.

Anna won Orange Bowl.

Thus, PITTS is greatness.

wow, i really didn't see that coming... but does she have what it takes to take on someone as good as Suzanne Van Hartingsveldt?

Her groundies are really premium but I guess her 2nd serve won't let her get the title...

Anyway, GO GO GO Nicole :p :nerner:

Nicole is one of the few players who have a WTA victory over a player ranked in the top 75 being only 14 years old. She defeated María José Martínez Sánchez in New haven qualies 2001 75 62 before losing vs Hantuchova 60 75 :worship:

Dawson.

any news about Pitts?

Nicole retired because she had ongoing injury issues that were eventually career ending.

Her half sisters are Hurricane and Tornado Black, both of whom have received media coverage as promising young juniors in their age categories. Time will tell as to whether or not they can transition into pros, but it seems they will be aiming to do what Nicole did by turning professional and opting out of college opportunities.
