Probably the WTA Champs, even though Serena won, since I was literally sitting ON the court for that one. Good times, people. As for one that Jen won, it would have to be the 2001 RG QF during Jen's run for the title.

I was unable to watch some of those. But I really enjoyed:

2003 Miami
2002 WTA Champs
2001 RG
2001 Wimbledon

I think
2001-08-13 Toronto Hardcourt F Serena Williams (USA) 6-1 6-7(7) 6-3
was the best.

However, my fave was
2001-06-25 Wimbledon Grass QF Jennifer Capriati (USA) 6-7(4) 7-5 6-3

I saw every match that both sisters played last summer at Wimbledon! You doth question my devotion?!:lol: All I remember is Venus hitting one amazing shot in her match against Zvonareva that ESPN could not just get over, they showed it gazillion times. :lol:Serena was a slouch at Wimbledon?! She lost less games than Venus up until the Finals in this tournament, and she only dropped one set whereas Venus dropped two.

   I'm sure the Clijsters set was lost due to injury.

Bottom line is: EVERYONE (including Serena) said Venus was the best player, and she would be the Wimbledon champ, had it not been for the third game of the semi final.

But again, what else to expect from a Serena fan?

Serena-Venus
4-6 6-4 6-2

Q. You said she obviously was playing the best up to these finals. Do you think the results would have been different if she was 100 percent? Would you have had to raise your level to cope with that?

SERENA WILLIAMS: Well, I think the way I played today and the way Venus was playing, I think definitely she would have been the Wimbledon champ this year.

2001 Wimbledon, 2002 Miami, 2002 Roma... I wish I could have seen 2001 Toronto since I hear that was a great one as well. Unfortunately, their matches have decreased in quality since 2002.

Who's gonna kick their sister/best-friend while they're down?! Serena's not rude enough(although some on this board think so, lol) to say, "I would've have won that match anyway, injury or not." Maybe against another player, but not Venus!

http://asapsports.com/tennis/2003wimbledon/070303SW.html (http://asapsports.com/tennis/2003wimbledon/070303SW.html) Q.. There's a 50/50 chance you're going to play your sister again in the final. There's been some suggestions that in order for her to beat you now she would probably be better off separating herself from you a little bit in terms of getting a -- practicing on her own, maybe getting a different coach. Do you have any feelings about that, or can you talk about that.

SERENA WILLIAMS: I think in this tournament Venus has been playing the best. I've had -- watched her match and I've had to raise my level of play to be able to, I think, compete with her. Compete with her, not LOSE to her.

Q.. Given that, obviously, you raised your game considerably today and, you know, we talked about your sister as well. Do you think that when you do raise your game, that there is anyone out there that can actually beat you?

SERENA WILLIAMS: Well... Who knows? (Laughter) Even more telling!!:hearts:
