Tough match to call. Who ever wins will be the heavy favorite in the finals. One thing is for sure: Capriati won't be making the errors that Venus did for Myskina. And late in the match, Myskina got very tight against Venus.
Capriati up 5-1; 2-0 on Clay
02 Miami RD 32 Capriati 3-6 7-5 6-2
02 Charleston QF Capriati 6-0 7-5
03 Wimbledon RD 16 Capriati 6-2 6-3
03 LA RR Capriati 7-5 5-7 6-4
04 Doha SF Myskina 6-2 6-2
04 Berlin QF Capriati 6-3 6-2

Let's go Anastasia!!!!!!
This should be a good match. Their match at the YEC was great! Anastasia really had chances in that match and hopefully she can take this win and make her first GS final!!

Another tough match to call; both players are playing well. I'm cheering for Anastasia, but as I said in the other poll, either player, really, could win. This is an exciting and unpredictable Roland Garros! I love it! :D

This Semifinal is absolutely the weirdest of all...but really surprising and full of action. Myskina and Henman are on the same track: player who canīt do anything on clay, but definetely deserved to reach the semis...
If Myskina manages to win against Jen in the semis, Henman will do the same to Coria!

jen in a nail biting 2 setter. there's no reason she shouldn't do well, imo. if she loses, it will be because myskina has really improved on red clay since their last meeting just a few weeks ago (a 2 and 3 capriati win, i think)

Im hoping for Jen in 2 sets but who knows with whats been going on in this tournament !

I don`t see any problems for Jen although I have to admit I underestimated Vampire Myskina going in her match versus Venus. Expected Venus to "kill" her. Okay, Venus had a bad day, perhaps Myskina hit the ball well but Jen in 2! Definately! :wavey:

I am watching the Serena-Jennifer semis now and I am not really impressed. Why Jennifer is always playing tough against Serena is simply because she is not geting intimidated by Serena's return of serve. Which is, at least on clay, quite a mediocre return. Not even close to say Dementieva's. All Serena does is just whacking the ball hard accompanied with her making some intimidating noise. While the percentage of success of that return is not high at all - some of them go in for effective winners but even more of them are going out long. Some players get overly impressed by this return. Not Jennifer. Jennifer just lets her do that whacking and doesn't pay attention to particular shots or noises knowing that eventually statistics will be on her side.
But overall Serena-Jennifer looks like a match of quite an average quality of play, so if Nastya plays to her strength, she'll definitely have a chance. Of course, that being her first career GS semifinal can play against her in a match against such anexperenced GS warrior as Jenn.

Myskina shouldn't be udnerestimated. They're about even on serve, about even on return (Capriati can hit more flashy winners but Myskina is more consistent and has better anticipation), Capriati has the better forehand, Myskina has the better backhand, neither one should go to net as their volleys are poor. So, it should be close. The only thing Capriati has the clear edge in is experience, but it's not like she's been mentally strong in Grand Slams recently.

H2H record in Jenn's favour...
Jenn knows tt this is her best chance to win another GS
she will not miss it....
she will hang it tough...
