Today it's the last day we can pay with pesetas in Spain (although I haven't seen pesetas for ages)

So...bye bye, peseta ;)

Yes, in almost all the countries with Euro, the 'local' currencies 'die' today. Except for other countries, such as France, and I think Ireland, where it disappears weeks ago...

btw, I just 'sold' my last German Mark's the other day, last day to do so here is also today...

Well,i like the euro.It's not such a big deal.Plus,i didn't see any pesetas since early january,i think.
