Safin & Russians: how to steel matches!

Dear Tennislovers,

it's 8.30 pm Paris Time, when on RG Chatrier court Safin requested a second injury time-out with Starace ahead 76/46/63/54 40/40, after the italian wasted two MATCH-POINTS!

I m hating all this FAKING, Myskina often do it, Sharapova showed that in Rome twice in three match (never down a game to Dementieva), the RULE MUST CHANGE!

Am I right? If not, I ll be anyway pleased to reed your answers.

p.s. Starace has been foot-falted on two occasions during this week: it happened at matchpoint against Grosjean and tonight at matchpoint (just a coincidence...) against Safin. No wonder if referees would allow Safin to take a coffee or a jacuzzi break...

are u kidding me? you actually think that Marat was faking it? I would suggest that you go find the interview with him after the match where he showed everyone just how disgusting his hand looks like. If you played tennis, you would understand how painful blisters are. His hand was filled with disgusting red blood marks, many the size of pennies and nickels. Just seeing how his hand look grossed me out. After seeing that, I have no doubt that he DID NOT fake anything. Trying to play with blisters is the most painful shit to have to go through. Even if there were some gamesmanship involved in Marat's action, i would still think that the majority of his motive to take those time outs was really just to treat his blisters. I consider his time outs justified. Get over it please. The boos were so not necessary, but then again, what else would we expect from the french.

a good player has to deal with situations like this, why do you say that only the russians do that? what did venus with dementieva in miami??? venus does this always!!!! and mysina was really injured in rome!!!
