whoops i put it in the wrong forum.

madonna! i love madonna but her singing voice isn't that comparable to the other singers, she's in the janet jackson category of pop diva.

um who is this kylie person?

Feb 28th, 2002, 03:44 AM
kylie would also be in the category of pop diva...

acknowledge the fact everyone has dift tastes and i can prefer my pop divas talents to the others mentioned...and by saying not comparable ,u mean not of the same calibre? pffft

im not trying to offend but people are just born with different talents and different voices. People in the pop diva category can have wonderful voices, they just dont have strong voices that carry, that have range. certain singers have a greater range than others thats just a fact.

i mean you won't see janet jackson singing an opera, will you? that doesnt mean she's not talented only that she's in a different category.

oh what does kylie sing? where is she from?

Mariah Carey...

Just wondering if anyone got her lungs....

Feb 28th, 2002, 05:24 AM

Feb 28th, 2002, 06:02 AM
Mariah is the queen diva.
Virgin was crazy to drop that honey.

Feb 28th, 2002, 06:04 AM
This is a better representation of singers.
Whitney rules. She has the voice of an angel.

Feb 28th, 2002, 07:00 AM
Of the ones in that list, it's definately Mary J!!! :D

Feb 28th, 2002, 02:18 PM
Joao,i agree with you.MY vote goes for Alanis, and Sheryl would come in the second place.

Feb 28th, 2002, 02:20 PM
Celine Dion is my absolute favorite singer!....I especially listen to her french albums even though I don't speak french! You go Celine! You looked awesome at the Grammy's last night!

Feb 28th, 2002, 02:25 PM
Yeah,i think that Celine sounds better in french than in english or spanish. After all, that's her native language, isn't it?Anyway, that's just my preference. She sounds sweeter in french.

Feb 28th, 2002, 02:26 PM
I totally agree with you! :D :D :D

Tori Amos behind that talentless bint Mariah Carey? Scandalous. :fiery: :fiery:

Mar 1st, 2002, 04:43 PM
What? Has no one heard of the absolute queen diva herself DIANA ROSS? She put divas on the map.

Mar 2nd, 2002, 04:57 AM
i would have voted for Erykah Badu, but she's not there ;)

the best voice today is Celine Dion, followed by Whitney Houston IMO

Mariah's voice is still very powerful, but she's not belting those songs out anymore, more like, whispering and moaning. i miss her old songs...Vision of Love, Make It Happen, Someday, Emotions, Can't Let Go etc. where she is truly singing with her heart and soul.
