Go, Suchanan!

I guess she's not that photogenic. When I saw her live, she was much more beautiful. With the untied long hair, she reminded me of Thai Airline CF model. :o

Good luck in this summer hardcourt season!

Does this mean she's playing Bangalore qualies instead?

From www.jirobkk.com
RAMA GARDENS Hotel, Thailand April 22, 2006
World No. 192 Suchanan Viratprasert of Thailand played great tennis in her career when she defeated world No. 45 Iveta Benesova of Czech Republic in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 in Fed Cup by BNP Paribas World Group II rubber 1 single match at the Rama Gardens Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand earlier today.
" I don't want to put any pressure on myself so I tried not to think about how result will be. I just went out there and hit the ball. I would rather go for my shots than giving her the opportunities to attack me, and she (Benesova) hit more errors than me. " said the Thai 23-year-old Suchanun who has an impressive 9 - 1 win - loss record since 2004. She beated three top-100 players, Nicole Pratt of Australia in 2004, Sanda Mamic of Croatia in 2005 and Benesova was her today's victim.

Jan's schedule based on entry lists is:

Week of 07 Jul: $10K Tokyo, JPN
Week of 14 Jul: $25K Miyazaki, JPN

She reached the SF of her last event, so she's playing well again. :D

Anybody know why she withdrew from $25K Qianshan, CHN a couple of weeks ago?

Jan plays 2nd seed Yurika Sema in the 1R at $25K Obihiro. Tough draw, but she's more than capable of winning, IMO. :)

Her results have been promising lately, reaching the QF at $25K Miyazaki, only losing to the defending champion.
