Lindsay has been screwed by the RG officials by being seeded #5, behind Venus and Serena. Woohoo....

No. that's not how seedings work at all. She will either face Juistine, Serena, Venus or Amelie in the QF.

hope she either faces Amelie or Justine in the qtrs, no matter where she is seeded though, she can win this title! :worship:

Lindsay out of anyone can't talk about being screwed by seedings - considering when she came back from injury she was granted a protected seeding.

If anyone should feel screwed then Amelie should have felt screwed at the AO when she was thrown out big time because of it.

The same thing will happen when Kim comes back at Wimbledon.

I actually like that top half of the draw - granted JHH, AM and LD are all in the top half - but it could sure as hell lead to some great QF showdowns if they eventuate.

Amelie has never been screwed by SSRs. At Aus it didn't matter if she was seeded 3 or 4. It makes no difference. Just like here it didn't matter if she was seeded 2 or 3. What matters is if you are in the top 4, top 8 or top 16.

Lindsay bumped a slumping Dokic out of the top 4 seedings at the US Open. Dokic lost to Bovina anyway so it didn't matter.

Kim won't get a special seeding.
