I haven't heard either of them say they're dating anybody. I haven't heard their mother say they're dating anybody. I haven't heard their father say they're dating anybody (and lord knows Richard will talk about anything). I had heard from a usually reliable source that they were dating aliens; one from Alpha Centauri, one from Orion. But when I tried to get pictures, one of them pointed a finger at me, and my camera blew up!

So it might be best for me to just say I'm SURE they aren't dating anyone. Really sure. (Please don't point that finger at me, tall purple and green person. I didn't see a thing.)

Well, their father pubicly said they like white boys "crackers" when someone asked for him to hook them up with one of the two.

Goto here (http://imdb.com/name/nm0711840/bio) and scroll down and it says HE is dating Serena Williams.

"Dating Serena Williams. [2004]"

I also saw pics of Venus with a white guy kissing

No, it's just nowadays it seems white men are the bottom of the barrell and we'll considered "2nd best" or something, for example, it's not shocking when a black guy dates white girls, but when a powerful, beautiful black girl who can pretty much get ANY guy, dates white guys, people start to ask questions...

Not to be politically incorrect, but the reason why white guys are at the bottom of the barrel, as you say, is because the ony thing they have to offer black women is money. There is more to a relationship than money and that is the LONG and SHORT of it (if you get my drift).

Exactly, um.. if i remember correctly Venus has NEVER dated a black guy, and Serena has only dated one but is dating a white guy again.

What? it's not possible to find white guys attractive? I don't get why ppl are so shocked, black guys date white women all the time, just a matter of time because black women start doing it too.

If you can get next to Serena, tell her jokes, get her laughing and she decides she likes you. And she's figures you're not a stalker or after her money, I'm sure you could get her to go out with you. The way I hear it though, you're not exactly the lony guy who'd like to get next to Serena. Good luck.

Can you explain to me why then when it comes to black/white relationshiops in the US, white men/black women account for about 30% of them? There has to be a reason for that statistic and money and/or precived lack of manhood is the ony reason I can come up with.

Believe it or not, but alot of white guys aren't into black chicks. The same can be said vice versa, BUT the ratio of WM/BF marriages keeps going up year after year since 1992 so you might wanna get your facts straight.

Oh, and so are you saying black women are going out with white men for "money"? So you claim that they are all gold diggers? How old are you? seriously... you're a nutcase.

From what I can see and from what whtie women say, money (the ones who have it) and sex (mostly the ones who don't).

You many not like what I have to say, but the two things I just named don't make a realtionship and it is no reason why black/white relationships have the biggest failure rate.

Why don't you just come out and say it, because that broad generalization has been around for along time now and some people seem to think, because a guy is white he CAN'T be a good "lover"... Which is prolly true somewhat, but most of those guys are like... the redneck type, pure bred living in alabama or something with a beer gut and is 5foot5. Why, are you saying that my girl friend's new yacht doesn't make her happy?

I completely agree, but the thing is, shes dated MORE white guys than black, and even ehr father was quoted as to saying "They like "crackers" (white guys)" after an african american guy asked him to 'hook him up' with one of his daughters, but thats old news, he said that like back in 2001 or 2002, so i assumed you knew that already.

From what I can see and from what whtie women say, money (the ones who have it) and sex (mostly the ones who don't).

You many not like what I have to say, but the two things I just named don't make a realtionship and it is no reason why black/white relationships have the biggest failure rate.First of all, I'm so embarassed at posting at such an ungodly hour :o But people, I do have a life, lol. All I have to say is that my parents have been married for almost 40 years and my mother (who is white Irish) did not enter a relationship with my father (who is black Jamaican) for neither sex nor money. Instead she married my father b/c she loved him. Difficult to fathom for some people I know.

Black women the reason being they are somewhat hesitant to date outside of their race, although this trend is dying very much so nowadays.

Asian men, well... have you ever been to any clubs or bars or anything? I mean... i dunno but it just seems some asian guys are just so awkward and geeky, the ones getting laid by other races are generally the thuggish philopino type guys.. even still.... and i could make the same argument that you made about white guys not being good lovers ;)

This thread is so uncalled for. The OP is just trying to start some mess about nothing. Venus and Serena can date whomever the hell they want too, and if he happens to be white then so be it. Venus and Serena are proud black women who have dated BLACK MEN, and will continue to seek whom they are attracted too regardless of what race it is.

As for me, I have a different take on interracial dating but just because I'm a fan of theirs does not mean that I should expect them to get with a black man. It's not a big deal, some people need to stop trying to start controversy.

Leave the sistahz fuckin alone already! Let them go out with whoever they wanna be with. whatever race they are, the most important thing is that they are happy with who they are with. If they are going out with white guys, what does it tell us? It doesn't necessarily mean they prefer white men to blakc ones. I'm sure they have gone out with guys of different races in their fuckin lives. Leave them fuckin alone already\!

I think it's great that people can see beyond race, but find it strange when someone can't see the beauty in thier own race. A lil self-hatred going on there.

I find it strange when people have nothing better to do than discuss how someone else dates. Even funnier, acting as if what they think
makes a damn bit of difference.

Love is where you find it!
People have no more control over whom
they fall for as they do the color of their skin!

I find it interesting that people constantly tear down others in their own race simply because they aren't living up to some preconcieved notion of what should be acceptable and allowed.

It's also quite insulting I think to say someone can't or doesn't appreciate someone simply because they've never dated that particular type of person.

It's interesting how people get up in arms over such issues but can't seem to be intrested on the whole in issues that matter or should matter and affect us all on some level as they should.

C'est la vie!

sometimes it's not. i know some white girls who date black guys for reasons other than they like them as a person. in these cases i don't agree.

as long as Venus and Serena are happy, i'm happy. would be nice if some of their "fans" felt the same way, rather than continuing their prejudice. oh well. and personally, i think many mixed race people are absolutely beautiful...a lil of everything is never a bad thing

I totally respect your opinion but I find it amazing that you straight folk seem to have more issue with being within or out of your own race more than us gay folk do.

Now why is that? But hell I am all for people dating who they want to date. I got over all that long ago as you did.

If I meet a guy and he only likes 21-year old skinny, smooth latino boys, then hell that is preference and choice because there is gonna be another guy out there who likes thirsomething, tall, hairy men like myself.

I think people need to stop worrying about WHY people date outside their own race. The rules of attraction do not say you cannot find any individual attractive.

I find it funny how certain people feel
that they can speak for an entire race.

Is my mother(Chinese) a sellout for marrying
a black man, or vice versa? Please!

The only sellout's are the people who profess to want racial untiy among their race but are so quick to cut down and critisize one another because they don't happen to see eye to eye on this issue as well as other's!

It's one thing to express a feeling, opinion, or idea but, it's quite another to call another out of their name because that person has issues!

Another thing I simply can't stand is the whole acting white or acting black bullshit! I constantly witnessed my black friends cutting down other black friends becaused they didn't speak slang, use the "******", didn't necessarily like rap or hip-hop, ect... I never understood ghow speaking proper english made someone white, as though the right to speak proper english was the sole possession of the white man!

I understand where people are coming from when wanting people to be with their own race but I simply can stand some of the unwillingness to be opened-minded and tolerant! For a people who have been misunderstood and treated so poorly and discriminated against, some would simply stop and think before just spurting out this and that.

No one has the right or should feel they have the right to tell someone what they can and can't do or feel the need to critisize worrying about others when they should simply take care of themselves.

It's one thing to try and educate but quite another to simply berate and belittle someone based on your own issues and notions. This is an instance where the addage of "catching more flies with honey than with vinegar" rings true! You start out with insulting people, no one hears anything from that point on, you feel attacked or feel others are and you go on the defense.
No matter how genuine your intensions were you already lost the ability to explain your point with people truly listening and have an open-minded and productive discussion.

Yeah probably California but middle America or the south? People have preferences and that's the way it should be. I'm not talking about people who don't want to date outside their race. I'm speaking of the people who think people that participate in interracial relationships should be treated badly or scorned. I just wonder how different is it.

Here's a story.

I went to San Fran to visit a board member. He's gay. We went to a party at his friend's house. His friend was Asian. His friend made it a point to let me know that he was his only Asian friend. So race is always there just under the surface I think. Eventhough his friend was in a mixed relationship he was aware that he was different. To me being willing to discuss your feelings and never take anything personal is what makes people be open to others not not discussing racial issues. I'm not saying that's your position at all I just wanted to get that out.

Honey again I am not going to deny there are not racial issues in gay circles. But I will still reiterate on more time, it is not THE most important thing gay folk worry about.

I can go down a list of things gay people have issues about and I am sure you would be very surprised. (lol and then maybe not)

Hey, all dicks are black when the lights go out. When a dick is long, hard, and hitting that spot, you could care less if it's green, pink, or purple with stripes and polka dots. Don't make me go to church up in here! I'm sure Venus and Serena are just happy to be getting it on the regular (I can relate). More power to ya girls.
Here's to good dicks in all shades and colors!!!!

LOL, I know you're not even suggesting someone being over-involved when you get upset if a fan offers criticism of Venus' game?

Why do people think when someone expresses an opinion that they think someone has to justify anything? It's my opinion that I expressed because I felt like it. Just like V & S are free to do with their lives as they choose, I'm free to have an opinion about it.

V & S aren't perfect they make mistakes from time to time. ;)

So, defending Vee's game is over-involved but making assumptions and critiques about whom they date and how they live isn't!

You tell me, because this whole thread has become about
V&S somehow seemingly having to justify what they do or
how they do it to people that don't know them from Adam.

You seemingly have nothing to justify but somehow
they do. Oh well then.

BTW, who said they were perfect and what does making mistakes or not being perfect have to do with this topic? I know you're no suggesting that them dating white men or any man outside their race as being a "mistake". ;) :wavey:

I totally respect your opinion but I find it amazing that you straight folk seem to have more issue with being within or out of your own race more than us gay folk do.

Now why is that?

This is just a one off example concerning me and maybe not representative of why straight people have more issues with it but last year I went out with a black guy for a few months and I took him home to meet my mum and she was fine about it. No questions were asked and everything was great. Few weeks later he was at my house and one of my aunts was there. He had to go to work so he left and I was on my way to my room when I overheard my aunt say to my mum something like "Well it's not as if they'll ever get married". Obviously the thought of that horrified her. Marrying a black man and maybe having children one day  God Forbid!

My mum was quite angry and so was I and I still don't talk to my aunt unless I have to. Anyway a few months ago I got a new job and a bunch of us was talking at lunch and something like this came up. So I told them about when I was with a black guy and how pathetic it was that a couple of family members were still shocked about that in this day in age. A guy who I work with is gay and he said he would never have that problem because his parents and family would not really care which race he dated because by being gay he had already done something regarded shocking and 'disappointing'. To them it didn't matter if he saw a black guy or a white guy because at the end of the day whoever it was would be gay and that was bad enough for them. He also said he would fear for his sister though if she ever dared brought home a black boy to meet the parents

That's just an example that happened to me but I wonder if straight people still have more issues with dating out of race because of family pressures? Marrying and having kids with someone of your own race is fine but mothers fathers sisters and brothers might not approve if you married someone out of your race. Sounds like something from the Dark Ages but family approval might still be a major issue for a lot of people.

I pointed out I find that accusation funny coming from someone who gets upset when a fan criticizes Venus' game or makes suggestions.

Two, I said I never said V&S has to justify anything to me for me to give an opinion. It's their life to do what they want as it's my opininion to have as I want and to express when I want.

You act like all choices they make are the right ones for them so really we shouldn't question them. Well I pointed out they make mistakes like the rest of us.

and if you haven't known I said all the guys they've dated and if I'm not mistaken Serena was rumoured to have dated Keshawn Johnson and Lavaar Arrington. Two men who could never be mistaken as "white" guys. So you can make that statement about white/black if you want to when in reality I said I haven't felt any of the guys were good enough for them but that I was just being over protectective.

I didn't like Keshawn and I don't like Brett. Oh but wait, I'm suppose to like Brett because what he's white and if you dare say eww what's she doing with him you have a problem with mixed couples but when I said, "No Serena, No Baby Momma Drama" to Keshawn hmm it wasn't that big of an issue.

Once again, V & S live their lives as they see fit. I know this, we all know this. Me giving my opinion is just that my opinion. Nothing more and nothing less.

The one about Venus playing in the French Open?

or the one about the death of Tony Randall?

or the one about Bill Walton's son (BTW, both are white) being good-looking?

Take your pick because I have a lot of posts.

A racist is someone who would like to see the destruction of another race or who thinks their own race is superior, both based on color. Unless you can find where I said or implied any oth those things, stop throwing names around.Add to that "antagonism or hostility towards other races."

Then Liz, that's your bad...next time choose your men wisely- preferably a rich one with a long dick:p
If my current relationship doesn't work, out, I have my eye on someone even though he is a little young.
