16 great matches in one day - 8 from Strausbourg and 8 from Vienna - with just five days left to Roland Garross everyone is fighting to be in form and to slide perfectly on the clay. Here is what I predict will happen tomorrow. Starting with Vienna.........

Chanda Rubin bts Alina Jidkova [Q] 6-4 7-5
Chanda makes her welcome return to the tour after we last saw her at Tokyo - here she will be rusty but her experience is enough to fight off the Russian qualifier.

Jelena Kostanic bts Li Ting [Q] 6-3 6-2
The chinese qualifier will run out of steam, playing her 4th match in five days and will loose to the talented Croatian.

Maria Vento-Kabchi bts Marlene Weingartner 7-5 6-2
Maria will take this match and will move onto the quarters.

Alicia Molik bts Daniela Hantuchova 6-2 7-5
Daniela - her form isn't that great - she will have concentration problems in the first set but will lead the Australian star in the second before losing her monentum and Molik will sail into the quarters.

Amy Fraizer bts Nicole Pratt 6-4 6-4
The veteran American will slowly put the Australian packing

Jie Zheng bts Lubomira Kurhajcova 6-4 6-1
Coming off the confidence of seeing away third seeded Raymond, Jie sees of the Slovakian in straight easy sets.

Magui Serna bts Yvonne Meusburger 4-6 6-4 7-6
The only game at Strausbourg to go to three sets, Serna coming back from injury struggles with the Austrian girl but finally sees her away in a third set tiebreak.

Anna Smashnova-Pistolesi bts Klara Koukalova 6-3 6-0
The Israeli will easily see of the Czech player and get through to the quarters.

STRAUSBOURG

Lindsay Davenport bts Marion Bartoli 5-7 6-2 6-1
The French teenager will give Lindsay a bit of grief to begin with but Lindsay will soon get into the swing of things and move in for the kill.

Katarina Srebotnik bts Julia Vakulenko 6-3 4-6 6-3
In a see-saw match, Katarina will come off using her experience over the Ukranian, possibly still celebrating after somehow winning Eurovision

Silvia Farina-Elia bts Anabel Medina-Garrigues 6-2 6-2
The Italian aiming for her 4th straight title here wins this match with little difficulty.

Laura Granville bts Milagros Sequera 6-4 7-6
The Venuzalian qualifer will test Laura but she will see her off in straights.

Severine Beltrame bts Barbora Strycova 7-5 7-6
A tight match but the factor of Severine playing at home will cost Barbora.

Emilie Loit bts Stephanie Cohen-Aloro 6-0 6-4
Two clay-court titles this year for Emilie and proving she has a chance at least to be the French top dog will be enough for her to crush her compatriot.

Claudine Schaul bts Tina Pisnik 4-6 6-4 6-3
Tina's form at the moment gives the Luxembourgian girl a chance to squeeze into the QFs

Akiko Morigami bts Ai Sugiyama 6-4 1-6 7-5
Like Tina, Ai is suffering from bad form and Akiko will take advantage of Ai's sudden loosses in concentration.

So there we go......16 great matches lined up for tomorrow......

That's a cool breakdown mate!

But I think that Pratt has a chance against Fraizer and Ai can easily beat Akiko!

Bartoli is hideously out of form and Lindsay will kick her ass like she does against most French players.
