It's raining now and only one quarter final has been completed. Are they likely to play until very late tonight (weather premitting, of course) or will we have quarterfinals as well as semis tomorrow?

I'm sure Vera is at her hotel chillin'... :D The weather pretty much sucks.

I'm sure they'll try to play tonight, but I have a feeling someone will be playing 2 matches tomorrow, and her name is Kuznetsova....

I'll be very happy for her if it is her, not Serena who has to play two.

from the italian open website:

The third quarter final of the Telecom Italia Masters between Serena Williams and Svetlana Kuznetsova has been switched to the Pallacorda court due to the rain-disrupted schedule. The two will play when the doubles match between Ani/Gagliardi and Petrova/Shaughnessy is over. When the current storm passes, Silvia Farina Elia and Amelie Mauresmo will resume their third set on centre court. The fourth quarter final between Anna Smashnova-Pistolesi and Jennifer Capriati is scheduled to take place under floodlights on centre court from 8.30pm.
