Viele mouthed off about how she should be allowed to play fulltime on the pro tour because she could beat everyone.

Didn't Alex Stevenson once complain about how rude the French players were because they walked around speaking French all the time? (not to be confused with the other accusation she made about what they were saying)

...Venus didn't become #1 till February...Martina didn't play RG or Wimbledon...didn't play again after Filderstadt...more importantly, she already had the injury that ended her career, thus allowing Venus to overtake her...and more importantly still, you still care enough to start a thread about her, after you told other people to 'get over it'...ho hum... :)

I think Sabatini once said about Graf it must be hard for her dealing with the pressure of being number 1 and Graf said 'How would she know what that's like?'

Sanchez-Vicario said something similar when Novotna dissed her game. Arantxa said something like 'When Jana actually wins a Slam she can tell me how to play the game'
