i don't think Jankovic will play doubles, she retired from qualifications, she seems to have back injury :sad:

I mean Kuznetsova & Likhovtseva would be the #2 seeds here not Navratilova & Raymond. Paola & Vivi only have a bye and no one else. If the #1 seeds get a bye so should the #2 seeds. Zheng/Jie is one person!! Jie Zheng plays with Zi Yan. And Anna Pistolesi in a doubles draw - seems unlikely.

I agree...Plus Arantxa is supposed to be playing here with Mary Pierce, not Anabel Medina, and I can't see how Randriantefy would get entry into the doubles maindraw even if she was playing with Meilen who has a decent ranking...Surely there are qualifying teams with better combined ranking, unless Tu/Randriantefy got a WC which i also highly doubt because according to the posted draw Camerin/Pennetta have one, Arantxa/Mary would have needed one, and any others that may be left would probably be given to a more reputable team or Italian pair.

and also.......it would surprise me if Els Callens wouldn't play doubles here
