NEW YORK (Billboard) - Stevie Wonder (news (http://us.rd.yahoo.com/DailyNews/celeb/*http://search.news.yahoo.com/search/news?p=%22Stevie%20Wonder%22&c=&n=20&yn=c&c=news&cs=nw)) will on June 8 release "A Time 2 Love," his first new studio album since 1995.

Details are scant about the Motown project, but Wonder is expected to be in the public eye more than he has in years around the release date.

In the weeks ahead, the artist is expected to perform on an episode of "The Oprah Winfrey (news (http://us.rd.yahoo.com/DailyNews/celeb/*http://search.news.yahoo.com/search/news?p=%22Oprah%20Winfrey%22&c=&n=20&yn=c&c=news&cs=nw)) Show" devoted solely to him. He is also scheduled to appear on ABC's "Good Morning America."

On June 10, the artist will be presented with the Johnny Mercer Award by the National Academy of Popular Music/Songwriters Hall of Fame, for the "high quality and impact" of his body of work.

"A Time 2 Love" is the follow-up to "Conversation Peace," which debuted at No. 16 on the Billboard 200 and has sold 366,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Stevie Wonder is one of my all time favorite artists. “Hotter than July” is such a fantastic album, I’m surprised so few on the board has shown such little interest.
