Canada's Olympics

I think we got 17 medals. 16 of them didn't mean much.

If you aren't Canadian, you don't understand the 17th.

Gold Medal in Men's hockey= colossal olympics

Silver Medal in Men's hockey= dismal failure

It wouldn't have mattered if we got 35 medals. The feeling in Canada all along was "Gold or Failure".

WE DID IT!

Its true really..

Not that we dont' appreciate what the other athletes have done, or lack in support for them...

But like a freind of mind said - we could have won NO medal in any other event, but won GOld in hockey. And most Canadians would still consider that a successful Olympics.
