View Full Version : Marie Reine Le Gougne was pressurised by Canadians, not Russians.

Feb 24th, 2002, 08:37 PM

The judge, Marie Reine Le Gougne, said the pressure she felt was unlike any in her 14 years of judging, that it intensified as the Olympics drew near and that it came from one country, Canada

Draw your own conclusions.. That's North America, baby..

I know, ys, I know. You just despise living here. All of this oppression. No opportunities for you. You had so much more in Russia. I can't even believe you came here.

You can't even say what you really feel, ys. You've been so tight-lipped since you've started posting here, for fear of being seen typing those very words in the police state of North America.

Baby. :p ;)

Is it about me, Hurley? Or maybe it is about that poor lady who was slandered and made a skapegoat by the media of your country? Who was bullied by the skating officials from your neighbouring country which ultilmately led to ruinous and wrong decision?

Thanks God, some of those media are not that sold.. Thanks, NY Times.

ys, I'm just trying to make you see that you are a hypocrite. Everyone else sees it, why can't you?

You bash my country at every turn. It is an amazing country. You don't like living here? LEAVE!

But you aren't. Hmm...I wonder why? Maybe because you don't want to bite the hand that feeds you. That's called greed, and you're backhandedly insulting the country you profess to love because you live in this "horrible" environment, and yet you continue to improve yourself here at the expense of living in your homeland, moving their horrid economy, helping their low morale, helping their citizens.

I honestly don't want you to leave America if you feel it's doing you good (that's why so many people come from their homelands to here, instead of the other way around). But you have to see how reprehensible you look to many of the posters on this board by openly admitting you are using our nation to further yourself and consistently showing absolute and biased contempt for it. That's horrible, and you know what? We may have free speech, but in our Constitution, we do not protect all speech being detrimental to our government. You're not there yet, but if you keep it up it starts becoming a federal offense.

Don't you see how much of a hypocrite you're being? If you hate it here so much, and you hate us so much, why do you stay?

Why do you hate us, ys? Why do you hate me?

I don't understand.

Hurley, if you want to talk about me, open the separate thread
(or better send me a PM, because I'd hate to see such a thread, I am a very humble person, you know ) and do not lead the discussion away from the subject. I won't answer your questions here in this thread.. ASAT.

Thank you, Hurley.

If I knew you, and you felt you were being treated unfairly, I would fight for you.

If I knew you, and you were having problems with something in the States, I would help you.

I've done everything in my power to see things from your perspective, and be kind. You have shown me none of that back.

You consistently group all Americans as "morons" and "classless." I am neither by a landslide.

It hurts my fucking feelings.

YS, is this french judge your mom?? Or you sister?? Or cousin?? Just wondering cuz she seems almost as full of shit as you, almost...

First of all she said that she was pressured by her federation, then by, I'm not really sure who but the lady that supposedly threatened her physically, and now she's saying she was pressured by Canada... my question is why the two fake confessions?? Why not just come out and say she was pressured by canada (if this is actually true, which i doubt) ?? Maybe she has split personalites or something??

And Hurley, trying to reason with ys is harder than trying to reason with a brick wall.... just thought I'd warn ya!

I believe her 100%

The 8th story is almost always the one that is true.

Either she is totally full of shit - or just really needed that fifteen minutes of fame, and thought she'd attain that by making up several stories before finally telling the real one.

I'm inclined to think the former.

EXACTLY - this girl is such a nutcase, she is trying to blame her actions on EVERYONE but herself! first it's the French committee, then it's the Russians, then it's the people who spoke with her about the incident, then it's the Canadians...which is it??? She lost all her credibility ages ago.
