Just had to get this off my chest. A friend of mine offered me a ticket to see Britney in Glasgow last night..... Of course, with it being free, I decided to give it a go.......

DISAPPOINTING!!!!!!

I felt ripped off and I had'nt even paid 30 for a ticket. She mimed more or less the full way through the show. There were so many gaps for her to change that any chance of momentum building up were scuppered by a big fat Marlyn Manson Drag Lookey-Likey talking to the audience.......

Kylies Crown is absolutely safe after seeing the poor quality of Britneys show....

Give me Kylie any day......

This morning on the news (here in the US) they reported crowds in the UK are demanding refunds on Britney tickets becasue of the lip-synching (the news anchor was happy to inform us that's what you guys call it...)

I saw the show last month (a free tik also) and you're right- Kylie is SAFE!

yeah i'd heard that too. a few folks from work went last night and they were really disappointed too. although they preferred the miming to when she actually did sing live. apparently the key changes and her voice were all over the place :tape:

guess that's what happens when you hang about Coatbridge bowling alleys late at night.... ;)

That's one reason I love Whitney Houston,
her voice may not always be there or hit
the right notes at concerts but she never lip-sync's! :o

Gosh, as far as I know, the show kick ass in US..

And who cares about lip-sync, she looks good and she's definately an awesome performer.

Nah I have never liked Britney Spears. I prefer Kylie, Whitney Houston and Toni Braxton.

I think it's pathetic that she lip-syncs. You know what? When I go to a concert, I want to hear you live! That's what a concert is for. If I wanted to see you mime words to a song that you didn't write and dance pervertively, then I'll watch your videos.

Madge takes a bow

Daisy Kay

Defying the recent death threats she's received, Madonna took to the stage last night for the start of her Re-Invention world tour.

Despite cancelling her Israel gigs due to threats to her and her family by an unnamed Palestinian group, the queen of pop wowed the Los Angeles crowd at the Great Western Forum.

And guess what? She managed to sing live, unlike her biggest fan Britney Spears, who was panned by critics for miming during her recent Hotel Onyx tour. http://67.18.37.16/431/162/emo/sheena.gif

The tour, which reportedly costs 1m to stage, has already received huge publicity.

During the concert, which sees Madonna performing her oldies alongside new material, the singer pretends to get "fried" in an electric chair.

Saving the extremists the bother.

The LA gig is the first of 50 gruelling dates which eventually brings Madge to the UK in August.

Reports suggest a documentary will also be made about the tour, but not on the same scale as the Truth Or Dare film which followed her Blonde Ambition tour.

Her entourage for this tour, includes more than 100 people travelling on the road, 56 security guards working backstage and 12 dancers.

While Madonna has a truck just to house her wardrobe and make-up and she has also made provision for a children's playroom backstage.

But the dancers have to dress themselves, as Madge has said she wants them to express themselves.

Hmm. Catchy name for a song. Well, it's better than tight-arse.

I heard in Berlin Britney left the stage crying because of the 16,000 available seats for the show, only 4,000 were sold. I heard X-Tina's tour wasn't selling too well and that is why they canceled hers. Though they are saying she has vocal problems or something. But supposedly a "scaled down" tour is planned for the future.
