View Full Version : Could we get a Kim-Justine semifinal at Roland Garros?

All depends on Serena's injury ranking: if they use that ranking at Roland Garros, she'll be the 2nd seed, behind Justine. Supposing both Justine and Kim play, it's possible they'll end up in the same half of the draw! Or won't Serena get her special rank?

No, Serena would be seeded #3.

I dont think that they'll risk not having a Williams/Belgium semis at FO...

Okay, thanks!:) Hmm... so I guess Serena will also be seeded behind Kim in Berlin?

It will probably be Justine 1,Kim 2,Serena 3

yeah, Serena's injury rank is 2, but if the actual #2 player is playing, that player comes before Serena. The same with Venus and Mauresmo

Serena is not playing Berlin, but is playing Rome where im guessing that she would be seeded after Kim...weird...

ms Venus Williams is playing Berlin behind Kim!

well at Grand Slams, it's the Director who choose the seedings : so Mauresmo' ll probably be seeded 3 behind Justine and Kim (if Mauresmo doesn't have bad results at Warsaw, Berlin and Rome)
Serena might be seeded between 4 to 7 !! (i hope she'll be #4)
And Venus might be seeded between 5 to 10!!

I think it's impossible, coz Justine will be at the top draw and Kim will be at the bottom draw, they won't get to meet each other unless they are both in the final.

It's in France. Serena will not be seeded above Amelie; but at WIMBLEDON
they will give her the higher seeding as the benefit of a doubt given to
the reigning title holder. Got it?
