Okay, so all of the other player forums have these chat forums. Not about the player we all love, but just about our ordinary lives. Let's start this up! :D

I'm Andrew. I live in Connecticut, and currently I'm "between jobs". :p

I have a dog named Abbey who I basically have to watch all the time to make sure she doesn't cause trouble.

Sorry to hear about your father. My father is also an idiot, so I don't talk to him or see him, and I haven't in years.

Yes, work sucks sometimes. I've been screwed over for jobs many times, unfortunately. That's life I guess. I just end up quitting. :p

Apr 27th, 2004, 08:09 PM
loveulindsay, i thought u were a girl!

Apr 27th, 2004, 09:10 PM
Hi, I am Jan and far too old to give my age! LOL I live in East Anglia in the UK and work as a Group Administrator in Local Government. I enjoy my job but its always extremely busy and I have a boss who is very disorganised and he nearly drives me up the wall.

I have my own little house (and a mortgage) live on my own as I am divorced. I used to have a black labrador dog called Harvey and a tabby cat called Pickles but they are no longer with us. I have one elder sister and my brother and parents are deceased. I have a Fiat Seicento car which is my pride and joy and is nicknamed the Metallic Raspberry because of its colour and paintwork. I had better stop boring you, but thats me!:wavey:

Apr 27th, 2004, 09:32 PM
Hi Jan.

Again, work always can be a pain. It always has been for me. :p

Sorry to hear about your dog and cat. I don't know what I would do without Abbey. Pets really are great companions. I can't have a cat because of my allergies. They have too much dander and I stop breathing.

Your car sounds nice. Metallic Raspberry sounds yummy. I'm hungry now. :p

Hello Lindsay fans! If you guys were surprised to hear that loveulindsay was a guy, maybe you will be about me too? Anyway, my name is Kyle. I'm straight, which seems to be uncommon among guys on this board lol - I'm 18 (the big "one-nine" in June, but I guess it's not that big, right?) and currently am studying animal biology with hopes of being a vet at the University of Florida. I am definitely an animal person; I have a black Australian Shepard named Max and a black lab mix named Sam. But I spend most of my time, when not at school, at my best friend's house and here we have 2 dogs and 8 cats! I would give you all their names, but you probably don't really care. My mom died almost exactly 2 years ago, when I was a junior in high school, and I was never really close with my dad nor my older brother, so it's been weird lately.

I just finished my final exams yesterday and am home free for the summer!!

Apr 28th, 2004, 06:13 PM
Hi Kyle.

Again, animals are cool. Wow that's alot of pets though. I have trouble dealing with my one little terror, let alone 10.

Sorry to hear about your mom. I am also close with my mother, but have had no relationship with my fater for years.

Exams also suck.

Apr 29th, 2004, 04:39 AM
Hey all Lindsay fans, wat^, well i'm 15 years old, yeah i know thats pretty young, but hey its fun talking to all you guys on this board. So i go to Moline Highschool and am on the tennis team. I'm really excited it's almost summer because i just can't take getting up so early every morning anymore, lol. I'm also a second degree brownbelt in karate, which i have been doing for the last 3 years. I just started going out with one of my really good friends Autumn, and it has made me really happy.

Kyle, thats really awesome you have alot of pets, i love animals, and its cool you want to be a vet.

Apr 29th, 2004, 05:17 AM
Hey LindsayRocks! It's okay that you're young lol nothing to be ashamed of; actually, I must say, that you seem very mature for your age, much more mature than most people on this board. It's good that you've found happiness with your friend; you should take advantage of things before it's too late.

And yes, it is quite a pain to get up so early everyday! But hang in there, and it will all be worth it in the end.

Apr 29th, 2004, 06:16 PM
Hi 89.

Getting up early is a pain. Which is why I don't anymore. :p Soon though I will have to because I'm teaching kids at a tennis camp over the summer. Viva me.

BTW what's your name?

Apr 29th, 2004, 07:00 PM
helloooo :wavey: i'm Elske, i'll be 19 in a few days, i study law @ university, i have one dog and one cat (looks like lindsay-fans like pets :D ), i've been a fan of linds since '99 :) :bounce:

Apr 29th, 2004, 09:58 PM
forgot to tell ya that my name is Sam

Apr 29th, 2004, 10:27 PM
Hi Elske.

My mother is a lawyer, and it sounds like an interesting job.

Yes, it seems like most Lindsay fans love pets. Your cat and dog look very cute.

I've been a Lindsay fan for a while, but started becomming an obsessive fan in 1999. I see her play every year at New Haven and the US Open.

Apr 30th, 2004, 01:13 PM
Hi everybody!!! My name is Frédéric, I'm from Rouen, near Paris. I'm 17 years old and I'm studying in an High school, and I want to be a nurse. Well...I have one brother, he's 20, and I live with my parents. I have a dog whose name is "Filou"!!! he's very old,(14), and he's still alive!!!! I became an obsessive fan of Lindsay when I saw her in the dayly news when she won the us open (in 1998!!!), Vale gave me some great matchs (thanks Vale!!!!) and I follow all of her match when the tv coverage permit it. Now I have a parable, so I can see the live matchs!!!! Now I stop borring, I have to work, I have an exam!!!!!!

Apr 30th, 2004, 02:34 PM
Hi everyone, I'm Nikki, I'm from the UK and I am 22years old. I have nearly finished my 1st year at uni. I am studying Sports therapy I enjoy it most of the time but would give it up to train to be a pilot if ever I could afford to. I live with my parents as it is the cheapest option. I have one older sister who is married & I have one dog.

I became a big fan of Lindsay after seeing her beat Steffi who was my fave at Wimbledon.

Anyway I have bored you enough:)

Apr 30th, 2004, 02:50 PM
i too love pets....we always have cats but the last one patsy got ran over....it broke my heart. my favourite cat we had was called sylvester...he was so naughty..lol. I remember one christmas he was fast asleep on the couch and my mum had just decortated the tree..we had to nip out for half an hour to visit some friends so we thought he'd be ok.....oh he was fine ok....he had his mad moments and totally shredded the tree...which was lying on its side all the dedorations ruined. He was lying in the middle of the tree when we walked in..he took one look at mum and legged it behind the couch...she was so mad..which made it even funnyer..

Apr 30th, 2004, 04:54 PM
Hi Frédéric.

I also speak French. My last dog was 14 when he died. His name was Tucker. Now I have Abbey, so all is well.

Even though Lindsay won her first match at the USO 98, there was something I didn't like about that match. I liked the Wimbledon 99 and Aus 00 finals much more for some reason.

Have fun with those exams. :p

Apr 30th, 2004, 04:56 PM
Hi Nikki.

Looks like we have Lindsay fans everwhere. USA, Belgium, UK, France...

Again, dogs are great.

I also enjoyed that Wimbledon match. I found Steffi's reaction hilarious. (I know, I'm mean. :p)

Apr 30th, 2004, 04:57 PM
Hi Kelly.

Pet's causing trouble can sometimes be very amusing. Last year Abbey bit open a marker and stained the fur on her nose red for about three weeks. It was actually kind of cute.

Apr 30th, 2004, 07:48 PM
Hi Loveulindsay!!! You know, in my opinion, one of the best match she did was the 1/2 of Indian Wells in 2003, she was stunning!!!! I saw the final of Wimbledon, I think she played really well!!! Oh, you are very lucky, you live in USA!!!!!! France is quite bad!!!!

Hmm.. I have 1 and a bit more years left at school before im off to uni, im so excited! i have my 1st exam in 3 weeks and im very nervous!
I'v been a fan of lindsay since i think it was 2000 when she lost to venus in the final of wimbie.. i def remember she was playing at wimbie and i saw on her on the tv and was like omg shes so great! plus she was playing venus (who i dont like) which made me like her more.
I wish i had a pet but my nextdoor neighbour cats are like mine except i dont have to feed them which is great hehe
anyway better be off :D

May 1st, 2004, 02:38 AM
Hello, all Lindsay fans!! It's nice to know personal things about each other, maybe some time we can all be brave and post pics of ourselves.

ForevaLindsay, my birthday is June 12th and my nephew's is June 8, so yes we have a lot in common with Lindsay.

It's so weird, I used to hate it when I turned on the tv to watch a normal show and tennis was on. But the first match I remember seeing was the 1998 US Open final, and when I saw Lindsay's reaction after she won, I just fell in love with her. I watched tennis when it was on for the next few years, but didn't really follow it until 2001 or so. But for the last few years, I have become totally obsessed with tennis and especially Lindsay! What I wouldn't give to see her win another slam...

May 1st, 2004, 11:31 AM
I need some help!!! I'd like to post a pic of Lindsay but I can't, the file is to big (350ko), so can someone tell me what to do??

May 1st, 2004, 11:42 AM
Hey found this file in my computer, and I did'nt remember I had it!!!It's very hard to find pics of her at Rogand Garros 1998 and I think it's a rare pic!!!!!! What do you think about that??

May 1st, 2004, 07:47 PM
thats a good pic

May 1st, 2004, 10:05 PM
Hello fellow Lindsay fans! I'm Joaquin from Argentina, I'm 17. I'd consider myself as a very ACTIVE person.
I love sports, specially tennis, but also practice a lot athletics (i run 100m., etc.), soccer and rugby. Other thing I like to do is playing the piano, I've been playing since I was 7 and I love it!:bounce:

On weekend I usually go out with my friends, we go out very much, I really enjoy it. And about pets the only thing I have are fish :o (though I feed them once a week) I'd really like to have a dog, I have one in my farm which is 500 km. away from home.
I remember seeing Lindsay's first match in the USOPEN's 99 QF against Mary Pierce, where she saved those couple of match points. I remember I like Mary, but when I saw Lindsay I fell completely in love. Then at the AUSopen 2000 I saw her trashing Martina and I said to myself "OMG! This girl is AMAZING!"

Hey, I am Joe 16 yrs of age from england-indonesia (mix of british indonesian chinese; mostly asian) and living in jakarta right now.. just in case some of you don't know it's located right in indonesia which is a boring place to be at really.... it seems like some of us have something in common in that we don't have good relationships with our dads (or mums for some of you), my dad is a successful businessowner however he has health problems such as diabetes, highblood pressure and heart problems which is why he gets bad-tempered quite easily and he doesn't talk quite often....

uhm what else can i say? oh i know Kyle (hey kyle! ) and i'm stuffed here with schoolwork all day.... Kyle knew the feeling and probably still does!!! you lucky bitch kyle you're in uni already!!aghhhhh

HI!:wavey: I was also named Sports Captain for my school and I'm also in my last year. That is great. Congratulation!
Wish you a better week next week. My week..... quite good actually. I've been training tennis at least 3 hours a day (cause i had this week off and didn't have to go to school), today I was supposed to run 100 m. for my club, but I cancelled it though, cause yesterday i went out and I am not feeling too good. :tape:
Tomorrow I'm playing tennis for my club, and tonight i have a party but I PROMISE I will not drink ANYTHING. (I've just made my promise to you guys). It feels horrible.
bye now,
