I for one hope she does, she deserves this as she is incredibly talented and the US are yet to fully discover this talent.

And can someone explain to me how 'Can't fight the Moonlight' has been on the charts for 33 weeks and is still holding strong at #11 or something, and Craig David, are the music fans in the US that committed to their faves?

Well the song seems to have peaked here in NY, but hopefully it's still rising in other parts of the country; after all, the first Top 40 station to play CGYOOMH was in NY so our cycle is ahead...

I think Kylie will have a Top 10 single next week. :D

Uh, Hingie, we here in the States had to suffer Kylie Minogue back in the late '80s. I remember hearing "I Should Be So Lucky", her rendition of Little Eva's "The Loco-Motion", and "It's No Secret".

I didn't realize she was still recording. Kind of like Debbie Gibson.

She has had so many number ones in so many countries it is incredible. She has always pretty muched owned the British and Australian charts which is enough to make you very very very rich, conquering America will make her Extremely very very very rich :p

I thnk she had 9 number 1's in Australia and 7 in England.

From the US Billboard site:

KYLIE MINOGUE
Album Title:Fever

Australian dance/pop vixen Kylie Minogue has certainly flirted with U.S. success in the past. But with the current crossover success of "Can't Get You out of My Head"—with its infectious "la la la" hook—the timing may be right for Minogue to take over America, just as she's done around the globe, where she enjoys success akin to Madonna. One of many highlights on Fever, "Can't Get You out of My Head" jumps three notches to No. 12 on The Billboard Hot 100 this issue. A chart-topper throughout much of Europe, Fever harks back to a more innocent time when sex and dancefloors merged to create one carefree nation under a groove. Try keeping still to irresistible and voluptuous tracks like the spiky "Give It to Me," the trance-laced "In Your Eyes," the alluring "More More More," and the slow burn of "Burning Up." Looking ahead, the funk-fortified title track and the disco-happy "Love at First Sight" are definitely single-worthy. Can't get her out of our heads, indeed.—MP

Sounds promising. A4, are you serious? J.Lo has NOTHING on Kylie, she is a perfect package. Just look at Kylie in her white number on the video clip and J.Lo in her green dress at the awards ceremony, no comparison, Kylie every time! :D
