Actually, neither Venus or Serena have giving out (certainly not gotten) to many double bagels. More often than not, they have mercy on their opponents and will usually throw them a game or two. Damn, they are so arrogant and mean!

That's actually very weird... Martina MUST have been injured or sick... I mean, I know Evert could beat her very easily, they both had an incredible rivalry, but 6-0 6-0 ?

Actually she wasn't. Up to then Martina had never beaten Chris on American clay, and she was simply outplayed. The "World Of Tennis 1982" yearbook reports: 'Chris did everything to her one tennis player can do to another. She patiently dissected her with her notorious baseline game. She unsettled her with a variety of serves. She startled her with quick rushes to the net....Martina was left confused and near tears'. But I believe that match was a significant factor in Martina's resolve to work and work and take her game to another level, regardless of surface.

Its funny how things turn around.
Martina came back to thrash evert on clay at amelia, and then a couple of weeks later again at the french, and lost a total of 6 games in the 2 matches.

Incidentally, Martina handed out a staggering 24 double bagels in her career.

And 2 of those were given to the same player 2 straight matches
I will protect the name to spare her blushes!!
