E! is producing an hour long special about the Williams Sisters and we'd love your help. I'm looking for personal photos of the girls (photos you've taken and own), home video you may have taken from any of their matches, games, and tournaments, etc... and any memorabilia you may have. If you are willing to help us out, we'll give you a special thanks credit in the show, some E! apparel, and send you a VHS copy of the show. If you're interested in helping out, please shoot me an e-mail. Thanks!!!

Though I'd like to believe you, why should I believe that this is legit?

you know it sounds fishy considering E! would undoubtedly get all their stuff from Reuturs, the AP, etc.

Plus, where in the world would they come upon this site? Considering that anything non-original from here would probably be unauthorized if used on air and anything original would only be useful for a clip or two.

But I could be wrong.

Not only that but they can get itmes from Getty Images as well as Disney (ABC, EPSN & EPSN2), GE (NBC) and Viacom (CBS, MTV, VH-1 and BET).

If it's bullshit, then why has the woman an email address from eentertainment.com ?

Good, then I will try to send her an email when I get home and see if it comes back to me or not. That way, I'll know if it is fake.

They want exclusive photos taken by fans obviously. Don't know if this is legit or not, but that was a stupid question.

This is an "unauthorized bio" ( like most of Es bios lol ) which means the williams family is not involved in anway way..therefore would not give them pictures or tapes/clips to use ..it just looks like someone at E! is trying to save some $$$ and get some free stuff from fans .. :) From what howard stern and joan rivers joke about...E! is very stingy with there money  Its not like HBO or NBC ya know :p ..But i really do enjoy allot of there bios..especialy the ones on washed up child stars    ;)

While we do get photos from AP, Reuters, Getty Images, Corbis Images... and footage from HBO Sports, NBC News Archives, NBS Sports... We also solicit fans for photos, videos, memorabilia, etc... whenever possible. Why you ask? Because most of the time fans give us their material for free or at a greatly reduced rate and I've found with past shows I've produced like Saved by the Bell, The Sopranos, Kobe Bryant... fans are more than willing and in fact excited to help.

Only two sport stars have been featured on "The E! True Hollywood Story: Anna Kournikova and Kobe Bryant. Coming in 2004:

Michael Jordan
Venus and Serena Williams
David Beckham
This was an article I read soon after Kobe was featured on E!
Is the poster legit? Who knows, but the story is true.

Shows are always trying to get never before seen footage of celebrities. What better place than from fans very own personal recordings? Unfortunately, I don't have any personal footage or photos to give so I guess I won't be seeing my name in the credits role on TV. Damn!
