I was :o when I heard that Anna might do some background singing for Enrique but actually they were planning to sing a duet..which is even more shocking! While she is very beautiful, I know the chile has not been hiding any singing talent from us :tape:

Now I guess she hit a sour note with Enrique cause..well..

WASHINGTON: Pop star Enrique Iglesias has broken his tennis sensation girlfriend Anna Kournikova's heart by scrapping plans to sing a duet with her.

The Rhythm Divine singer, 28, had seriously considered allowing the Russian beauty to join him onstage in her native Moscow later this month, but the hunky Latino has since decided that his image may be tarnished by the move.

Enrique's move has devastated Anna and she is deeply hurt by her sweetheart's snub.

"She wanted to sing a surprise duet in Moscow when Enrique performs there at the end of April. She had really set her heart on it and hoped it would turn out to be a triumphant homecoming for her. Enrique did consider the idea. He loves Anna and thought having her onstage would keep her happy. But then people around him pointed out that it might look a bit naff to have her up there with him, rate the music quoted a close source as saying.

"Anna got quite emotional and took it all personally. For Enrique the decision was about his career image, not his personal life," added the source.

Actually, this was big news a couple of weeks ago. No one knows if this was true or a rumor.

I feel for the girl. These last couple of years have been pretty rough. Tennis career in shambles, divorce, injuries, criticism of off court ventures, and now a law suit from her parents. No wonder she never leaves Iglesias' side. She probably feels that he is the only friend she has right now.

Don't feel bad. There is nothing to feel bad about. Everyone has their high moments followed by periods of lows. Anna is at a low point in her life. What makes a person's character is how they deal with the low points. How Anna emerges from these problems will mark how people really remember her.
