What's the worst&best match u have seen between 02' and 03'?
I think the best match I've seen in these years, is Capriati vs Henin (US Open 2003) :worship: :worship:
And the worst Widjaja vs. Kournikova at Us Open 2002 :tape: :tape:

Worst match I have seen was JHH vs Anna K - AusOpen03 2R - the score was 60 61 and Anna K was just the worst, when she served the ball bounced on her side of the court before going over the net. Everyone laughed and JHH was really put off and making stoopid mistakes herself.

Another bad match I've seen was ASV vs Marta Marrero at RG 2002.Poor Arantxa  She lost 1-6 0-6

Justine Vs Kim French Open Final:o . Talk about an atrocious final. And people thought the finals between Venus and Serena were terrible. At least there are dynamics there to look for.

That was indeed the BEST match last year...I was watching Kimīs match at midnight and was already quite sleepy, but when I saw the first set at half past three in the morning between Jen (and the crowd) vs. Justine I couldnīt go to bed, it was too good. Actually it was the best not just concerning sports but overall on tv all year long. Quite a thriller... :worship:

As a huge Jenny Fan, I am still in therapy over that match with Justine. Seriously though I was sick to my stomach for days thinking about what could have been had Jen made it to the final in front of that crowd. She really would have ended things on a high note if she was never to do anything again with her career. Still it was the best match of those two years

Serena vs Jen at wimbledon was great too....but as far as drama goes I guess the Justine vs Jen u.s.open match wins it in a good way and Serena vs Justine in a bad way.

Best: Jen vs Justine USO 2003 offcourse.I don't think I have to explain it....

Worst:Kim vs Justine YEC 2002.Kim won 6/2 and 6/1 i think. And Justine was just playing soooooo bad and Kim wasn't really playing all that either.Very onesided, lowquality and for me heartwrenching match since Justine was playing terrible and I knew she could do some much better

They sure did, just look at the contrast between the two matches:from big-time choker on the important moments to mentaly one of the strongest players and playing her best on the the big points

Q. Justine, the first couple games, four games, were pretty close and then you slipped.
JUSTINE HENIN: Yeah, I was really tired during the match, and I felt without energy and that's why at the beginning of the match it was high intensity, but I could feel that already. In the first game I wasn't going. I was sweating a lot. That's not normal for me. I feel so tired at the moment.

You know, it's the end of the season, so this kind of thing can happen, and unfortunately it happened for me today. It's life.

Q. Is it physical or mental that makes you so tired?

JUSTINE HENIN: Maybe it's both. Maybe now it's done and I can feel more tired than if I have another tournament next week, but I think it's more physically than mentally. For sure, the season was very, very long.

Kim played really solid and I had to play 100 percent if I wanted to win the match, but it was very close in the first set. It's 6 2 but it was so close.

In the second I was completely dead and I couldn't fight like I wanted to do.

Q. Are you tired or you think you might be coming down with some flu or something?

JUSTIN HENIN: Yeah, maybe a little bit. Yesterday I could feel already that I was you know, I slept in the afternoon. That's not normal for me. I never sleep in the afternoon.

I was tired and, yeah, when I came here, I could feel that I wasn't 100 percent, but it just may be that I was tired. I don't know if it's something more, but I don't think so.

My personal worst matches have to be the Roland Garros 2003 final where Kim just collapsed against Justine and at the Aussie Open where JenCap was beaten by Weingartner!! :o :bigcry: :fiery:

I guess the best match during that period was Capriati's victory over Hingis in 3 sets at the Aussie Open 2002! :yeah:

Well...this is a statement :p

Personally I donīt really like to watch Williams vs. Williams matches...(as an JHH fan)...must be the same with the Belgian finals for the Williams-Fans...at least it doesnīt run in the family

Best match has to be JHH vs JenCap SF in USOpen 2003, who could forget that one! It is as memorable as Graf vs Hingis in French Open final in 99.

I wouldn't say those Serena vs Venus/Justine vs Kim matches are the worst ones though. They weren't as exciting as people were hoping them to be and the standards were no where near the expectation but surely they weren't THAT bad.

I can't remember what match it was but it was Myskina vs someone last year and it was awful. The amount of ridiculous unforced errors from both players must have been triple figure. It was a matter of someone losing the match rather than someone trying to win it.

Worst: After beating Serena in an emotional match in Rome, Mauresmo bellies up to Serena at home 1-6 2-6 (THE MOST LOPSIDED GRAND SLAM QUARTERFINAL EVER! [Serena's piling up quite a list of lopsided victories])

Best: Justine's amazing comeback at the Semis of the '03 US OPEN

Oh also....Venus' match-point having loss to Dementieva in the quarters of Nasdaq! Venus had 51 Unforced and 11 DF's and still managed to get a MP!
