yeeeeeeeeeees!

Leicester City 0 Derby County 3 (Kinkladze, Strupar, Morris)

Not many of you will care but it's great to see Branko Strupar back in a Derby shirt after a year out with injury, and doing what he does best, scoring of course. Against Leicester!

To the tune of Super Trooper by Abba

Super Strupar,
Glad that we had signed him,
Scoring goals for fun (Supa pa, Strupar, par)
Like he's always done (Supa pa, Strupar, par)
Playing like a number one...

BRANKO: I FELT LIKE I COULD FLY
Dateline: 23/02/02 18:20:48

His look to the heavens said it all!
As Branko Strupar left the pitch he glanced skyward, crossed his chest and realised his nightmare was finally over.
After a series of operations and months of fitness rehab, the suspension of Fabrizio Ravanelli saw the Croatian-born striker turn out in the Premiership for the first time in 11 months.
And his second-half goal marked a fairytale ending to a real horror story.
"When the ball hit the back of the net I felt like I could fly," he told VisionRams after the match.
"I really didn't know what to do with myself... I just wanted to take a big leap into the Derby crowd because I felt I'd take off, I was that emotional.
"A huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I feel terrific."

But I fear he's back too late to save the mighty Rams...

I still think he's gonna choose Ravanelli over Strupar on Sunday vs. Man United tho. Christie had a blinder against L*******r, so he'll be in.

Aliceb, nice to see ya again. I think we have a fighting chance but the midfield needs more strength. Rob Lee has come in and done well but he's only short-term, Ducrocq is nothing special, he's good but nothing extraordinary, same with Valakari. Nice to see that arrogant tw*t Murray's been shipped out to Mansfield on loan.

Anyway, Go Branko!
