Hi! :wavey:

I still am in high school so I guess I was like I am now!

Heheh. That would be...

~Not amazingly popular- but not one of the social outcasts either.

~Can be a bitch but only if they deserve it;)

~Very sporty, P.E GCSE and some school teams

~Some people would describe me as quiet, anyone who knows me wouldn't!

Feb 23rd, 2002, 10:36 PM

I also played sports and for the people who didn't know me thought i was a "freakish" due to my piercings (i get this alot people who don't know me but just see my looks think like i am an anti-social bitch lol)...

Feb 24th, 2002, 01:44 AM
I was young.

Feb 24th, 2002, 02:28 AM
I was fairly sporty! First I played on the tennis team, but then I quit, and joined curling! :)
I was very much an under achiever in school though because I didn't have much interest in it! As for popularity, I had a lot of acquaintances but there was only a few people I could consider good friends.

Feb 24th, 2002, 02:35 AM
were you popular?

Everyone knows who I am, my sense of humour is either seen as annoying or original. Either way, I get on with more people who I don't get on with.

were you the bitch?

I can bve an arse when I feel pissed of about something.

were you the sporty type?

I only excel in goalkeeping in football and leg spin bowling in cricket. Other tha that I know more about sport than I can actually play.

were you the achiever?

Currently I have 2 AS levls at A grade in Sociology and Enbglish Language. I am sort of the achiever who rests on his laurels. I other words I'm very lazy and sometimes quite arrogant.

were you quiet?

were you a couple of the above?

lol, i just watched clueless and i was kinda interested.

I am drunk but at least I am honest ;)

Feb 24th, 2002, 03:52 AM
were you popular? The latter years i was..

were you the bitch? Only if someone was a b!tch to me.

were you the sporty type? Nope.

were you the achiever? I came 2nd, missed out on dux :(.

were you quiet? NO WAY

were you a couple of the above? Huh?

Feb 24th, 2002, 04:00 AM
I was never there :o

lol, well I had a great group of friends...I didnt play sport...(except tennis in the early years)...most teachers forgot my name cos I was never there...um, I had around 100 late passes (arriving to school late) in one year once...er, I wasnt part of any clubs or anything and I didnt even go to my graduation ceremony cos I couldnt be arsed...I had some great results but ultimately I didnt work to my full potential so I regret not trying harder, but what can u do?

Anyway, I suppose I had fun in high school, there were some good times ;)

Feb 24th, 2002, 04:32 AM
I guess I was a nerd. Not popular, but not hated or anything. I was kinda quiet and really shy.

I'm not really like that anymore though.

Feb 24th, 2002, 04:35 AM
Um,I guess im sorta popular.I dont like to say that I AM because it makes me sound self-absorbed(no offense).Im sporty and Im friends with everyone, popular, nerds, ghetto, etc.
Tennis forever!:wavey:

Feb 24th, 2002, 11:20 AM
I'm considered as a freak who has a very weird life and my friends are very weird too :) They are hippies, nerds, etc.
I like my friends a lot and I don't care if the others think we're weird.
I'm not popular, because I'm very weird, but people do say that I'm funny. I always make jokes in class and I like disturbing the Physical Education class :o ;)

Feb 24th, 2002, 12:12 PM
Well Im still in High school but I have always been the same through it!!

were you popular?
Well I get on with everyone but I wouldn't say I was popular.

were you the bitch?
Nope thank God!

were you the sporty type?
Well I am taking P.E as a G.C.S.E and I play in most of the school teams so I guess I am.

were you the achiever?
Not really, only in a couple of subjects I am achiving well in :(

were you quiet?
According to everyone-NO!

Feb 24th, 2002, 12:17 PM
I'm not popular but i don't care!

I got top 10 results in the year for GCSE's so i'ma high achiever.

I have a close group of friends!

I was the one who was crap at almost all sports except for Tennis and Badminton which i just kicked ass in!

I was someone who was very musical,in all the choirs i still am:o and i used to be a great soloist

I'm not quiet its just i get intimidated by the 'popular' people but now i do what i want and i don't care!

Feb 24th, 2002, 01:30 PM
were you popular?

modesty aside, i was in the in group in my class and in high school. people knew me but i didn't know most of them. it was ok, but i got sick of it early so i kinda pulled away from some of my friends when i got to 2nd year. when everything was better and i had my prioritities straightened, everything seemed ok. afterall, i wanted to get into a good college...

were you the bitch?

not so much as some of my friends were. http://www.theunholytrinity.org/cracks_smileys/kao/cactus/ayasi.gif but we had our fair share of bitch fights at school. i tried not to get into trouble so much since there were so many expectations. but i think i could have given a couple of my classmates, a not so fun time when they wanted to talk to me...

were you the sporty type?

cheering and sports was the best part of high school for mehttp://

were you the achiever?

in a way yeah. im quite the puzzle. i always had good grades even if i don't try my best. but when i was in my senior year, i had to shape up. i aced my entrance exams to top 4 universities here. hopefully i'd do well in my course.

were you quiet?

no. anyone who knows me would shoot me dead if they find out i said yes. i was very talkative, still am.

I was an entirely different person in high school than what I am now.

I was by-and-large a popular person but not for the conditions that I would've liked. I was heavily mutually respected by the enitre student body moreso than someone who simply had innumerable friends. In some ways I was overlooked and taken for granted, but in other ways I was someone who was held in great awe. I didn't understand the latter. I wasn't particularly special by any means, but teachers and even some of the students would sometimes tell me how respected and liked I was within the school community. You'd need to speak to somebody who knew me back then to find out the reasons why because I don't have a clue.

The other students were friendly to me because I was always friendly to everyone but I never had that many friends. The ones that I did have (or at least thought I had) were probably considered the social outcasts. They seemed to be the only ones that would have me. But then I learned the hard way why they were considered the social outcasts. There were reasons why they were disliked or made fun of. And what they did to me was eventually the main reason why my high school experience left me with a feeling of detachment.

I was unhappy for most of high school. I was a square who wasn't a square, a jock who wasn't really a jock, and an artist who wasn't really artistic. I didn't fit in anywhere while at the same time seemed to fit in very well. I was an all-rounder who never excelled at anything enough to warrant any attention or mention. There was a contradiction at every corner and I became confused. I was frustrated at being invisible. I may as well have been a corpse.

These days I have more ambition. More drive. More guts. More determination. And ignore all the BS that have led to some downfalls in the past. I've completely immersed myself into my tennis right now. I'm training with steely determination and focus in order to compete well in club competitions and have a sense of achievement. I'm slowly regaining the respect I once had, as well as consolidating on friendships within the 'real world' community. I have recently started a traineeship-slash-job as a tennis coach, and the President of a Hollywood talent agency recently contacted me personally to express his interest in representing me and my work. This is just the beginning.

Essentially I'm still the same compassionate, thoughtful, conscientious, quiet and inviting individual I always was in high school. The difference now is that I also have a certain positive strength that can only be developed after having to go through some conflicts that were beyond my control a couple of years ago and managing to survive it.

Feb 24th, 2002, 03:48 PM
were you popular?
Im friends with many of the people in the "in" crowd, but would place myself just outside there... all my friends are the drama queens in all the school plays and musicals - i just sit there and take the piss out of them :p

were you the bitch?
I bitch about people :p but that's cos i'm insecure

were you the sporty type?
yeah - hockey, netball, athletics, swimming and tennis teams

were you the achiever?
yeah :o i get prizes and stuff for being top 10 GCSE too (monica_rules - :) )

were you quiet?
NO!! I'm quite loud

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

you are me!!!! :D

everything you said is what i was!

i failed attendance miserably! :o
when i did go to skool i was almost always late!
i didn't go to my fraduation ceremony either! (i was annoyed i didn't go to that coz they had something on me for some reason, and there was a huge photo of me on one of those massive projector things where everyone in the hall could see!) :o
i also had some great results but i didn't perform to my full potential! i should have been dux of the skool but i was too lazy to go to skool so i had no chance of achieving ultra-high scores! :(
I never joined any clubs either except for tennis in the early high skool years! I had a big group of friends! I was rather popular coz i was so nice and approachable! I knew and liked 99% of people and 99% of ppl liked me! :bounce:

terry you don't understand how freaky this is!!!!!!
I'm fully freaked out now! :p :D

Feb 25th, 2002, 02:16 PM
I had a cousin that was a senior when I was a freshman and I hung out with her through school. I was pretty much set the next three years and I never really had to do anything. I played basketball, tennis, baseball and I was on the track team for 2 years so I guess I was sporty. I wasnt a bitch, but I sure could do some damage if someone was mean to me. I had friends with mostly everyone that I came into contact with in school. I had popular friends, I had friends that were very smart and I had friends that... well lets just say they missed out coz they probably couldnt remember much. lol

Feb 25th, 2002, 02:17 PM
the only difference b/w u and me terry is that ALL teachers knew me 1/ coz i was a MASSIVE MASSIVE suck! i'd compliment teachers looks and they'd buy it so i get out of trouble or detention! :o I went to about 15% of my R.E classes for the year and all i did was buy my teacher a bunch of roses and she passed me, with me failing or not turning up to major tests and stuff! :D

and 2/ coz i was totally "out there" every teacher and student has heard about me, from all year levels!

some knew me for wrong reasons like

- cross dressing on school sports days!
- wacky wacky hair styles
- being gay, or assuming i was gay!

actually now that i think about it! i'm suprised the supposed anti-gay ppl at skool liked me too! well most of them did anyway!

Feb 25th, 2002, 02:36 PM
LOL! You're a wally alright. ;)

Well i probably was every teacher's nightmare;)

Feb 26th, 2002, 12:05 AM
I was popular with the boys, but all the girls hated me, because their boyfriends either wanted me, or were doing me on the side. At 13, I learned guys liked oral and learned to give it, and when I was 14, I learned they'd buy me things for it. So, I was quite the "belle of the ball" (no pun intended) with the boys until I left school at 15. Nasty bitches, not one ever asked me how to do it, because I'm generous and would have told them! ;)

Feb 26th, 2002, 03:57 AM
i was a bitch then, still a bitch now..;)

Feb 26th, 2002, 04:01 AM
I was popular with my friends and bitched about those I wasn't popular with in a quiet, non-sport achieving kind of way :)

Feb 26th, 2002, 04:26 AM
LOL@Wally! Looks like we are one and the same! ;) hehe

lol@ur R.E attendance! At the end of the year in Year 10 our economics teacher gave us little prizes and mine was the title "The Phantom" cos I was hardly ever there! lol...somehow I still passed without doing anything

lol@Celeste! I had a few girls like u at my school ;) :p

Feb 26th, 2002, 04:37 AM
I went to a school for "smart kids" so it wasn't your typical HS experience. It was light on sports and heavy on academics. I was recruited for a couple of sports teams, but I was not interested in that at all. I was content to hang out with my group of friends (and cut school occasionally). I wasn't part of the "cool crowd", but it was a small school, so everyone kinda know everybody else. I got along well with most of the people in my class.

Feb 26th, 2002, 05:31 AM
I still go to high school so....

are you popular? Kinda. Some people like me, other's don't, most do...other's have no idea who I am....same with them.

are you the bitch? Sometimes. Depends who too. I don't pick on people but if someone says something to me...well you know the rest. ;)

are you the sporty type? Not at school.

are you the achiever? Nope. Lazy as.

are you quiet? Not really.

are you a couple of the above? Yes.

Feb 28th, 2002, 09:05 PM
were you popular? i was friendly with the people i like and i hung out with those who liked to partied and have fun. i guess you can say schoolwork wasn't very high on my list of priorities.

were you the bitch? no

were you the sporty type? yup, i played soccer, was on the cross country and track 'n' field teams

were you the achiever? only when i want something, but i did excel in art :) and i maintained good enough grades to please my mom. i could have worked harder though and could have spent less time partying or ditching class.

were you quiet? no,

were you a couple of the above? yes

Feb 28th, 2002, 09:20 PM
were you popular? lol omg no. Sometimes I felt like I was invisible :o.

were you the bitch? No, I wasn't existent.:o

were you the sporty type? Yes but only in a couple of sports (I suck at swimming)

were you the achiever? Yes since I had nothing else to do lol

were you quiet? Yes, very quiet.

Mar 2nd, 2002, 03:39 AM

Hi Kisha! :wavey:

I was the achiever and I was quiet. I also was like the big geek in my class and was totally bagged on about it because I got grades. :( It was like so depressing sometimes but I'm in college now and I'm havin lotsa fun too. :D

Mar 2nd, 2002, 01:08 PM
High School huh..

Well nothing major happened in school. I wasn't popular but I got along with most people. I was soft spoken, quiet, and a good student, which is completely opposite when I'm at home or with my friends where I am myself around them. I got along with my teachers too so I didn't have a hard time in any of my classes. I also had trouble with getting to school on time, but when they enforced much stricter rules and suspensions, I started going to class 20 early. I wasn't a bitch but I could be if they push buttons too far.The only year that went by the longest was my freshman year, because 2 of my closest friends became my worst enemies. It took more than 2 years until we finally started talking again. I wasn't really atheletic but I did join the tennis team and cross country. Other than my freshman year, the years flew by fairly quick. I was one of few who didn't cry during graduation. I missed my friends but it was nothing to cry about because I still keep in touch with them on the internet or eventually see them when they visit.

Mar 2nd, 2002, 01:29 PM
hmm, school was so dull, especially in my last two years - when you know you're too old for it all.

were you popular? not when I was little (11-14, I was quite the geek) but post-GCSE I was pretty popular. I wouldn't say I was ever the centre of the cliques though.

were you the bitch? I am now, I think i started being a bitch the year I left.

were you the sporty type? God no.

were you the achiever? Yes.

were you quiet? Stopped being quiet in 6th form - a good decision methinks.
