Amelie and Venus are the top seeds. Vera has Fed Cup first.
But a championship here will be nice. She won Bol, Croatia last year.

It's a great draw. They've never met before. Nemenkova is ranked about #140.
A good opponent to start the red clay season.

Great draw. Venus on green clay is much harder for Vera than Venus on red clay. Udachi.

Vera into the semis after her 6-3 7-5 win over Anna S-P! Vera came back from 2-5 down in the second set and saved 3 set points! :D
Vera next faces either Venus or Maggie! Good luck Bepa!

Vera lost 6-3 6-2 to Venus. I don't understand why every time she has an opportunity in a big tournament she blows it. :o

Right now Venus is a better player. Vera is still a teenager. Her best results are coming, there is no rush.
It's a career long process.
