I miss her so much, not only was she so talented, but she had great personality, she was so sweet.
I've been a fan of hers for a long time, and of all the famous people, she was the only one with a head on her shoulder.
It always makes me sad when I think about her.
She was so real and it's really sad she had to leave at such an early age, her life was only beginning, but she is in a better place right now from all this evil going on.

I miss you Aaliyah

lovely hearfelt post.

i think everyone misses her. its hard when someone dies.

When its someone in the public eye that everyone respects and loves as it effects a wider group of people.

The main thing is to focus on all the god things that she has done and achieved and remember that, no matter what happens in life, you still have memories.
Sometimes they may not be enough, but they will stay with you forever.

That post comes from the heart! It's truly heartfelt. WE all miss her very much.

As Kisha said it's hard when someone you admire dies. I remember how I felt when Jon from Feeder died.

Here's a pic of the "Talented. Beautiful. Modest" Aaliyah

I'm listening all day to her song 'I care for you',
that song makes me so sad.

She will never be forgotten, and she will be remembered by many, and if there is afterdeath, I would like to see her...

She was an angel, and she still is.

I miss Priness Diana, too.
Even though they are two completely different people, they have something similar:

They touched so many hearts, and pain was caused after they passed away, and even though I don't know them personally,
their smile brought me happiness, and now I feel sadness if they show them on TV, 'caus it's just not the same.

One thing that upsets me, is that the good people always go at a young age, the one's that make you smile, but evil people, seems like they are their forever there(Milosevic, Laden, etc...), the ones that bring you all the bad things.

So I want to thank Aaliyah and Princess D for making people smile and happy.

I miss her a lot also

I have even changed my avatar of Serena, to put an Aaliyah one :)

I am always listening her dancing songs :) I don't like to hear the slow songs, cause it reminds me a lot from her death, and I fall on tears ...

I always listen "Try Again" and "More than a woman"
:)

And I want to buy her new CD :)

Thanks Marri :) I also find this pic soo lovely of her, and I wanted to put this one, instead of keeping the old one, that I was already fed up :o ;)

I remember also, have you guys saw on MTV, Video Music Awards 2001?????

They did a very memorable moment remembering Aaliyah, with Janet Jackson, Missy Elliott and others :) Just for curiosity, Aaliyah surprised everyone by winning the prize of best female's video clip of 2001 with "Try Again" beating Toni Braxton, Christina Aguliera and Jennifer Lopez   :)

Then they showed in a big screen on the top of the roof, an interview of Aaliyah, talking about her future plans and etc...  so sad.... Janet also teared up while speaking of Aaliyah...

I guess this will be forever marked on VMA'S history :)

AAh and I also fell on tears lol :o

I wan't you to rock the boat, rock the boat, rock the boat, rock the boat, work the middle, work the middle, work the middle, work the middle, change positions, change positions, new positions, new positons, now stroke it for me, stroke it for me, stroke it for me.

Everytime I hear that song, I am almost to tears because it was right before the incident and I remember the look on her face on MTV's making the video when she had to go under water. She was an angel.

me too

Every time I see the Rock The Boat video I get real sad, its quite tough to watch. But the song is fantastic and its one of the most exotic, beautiful videos I have seen.

Her last album was magnificent, and I listen to it still. The song "More Than A Woman" is a classic and whenever I hear it, it paints a perfect picture of Aaliyah.

Becool, I know what you mean (the VMA)... the sadest moment was when her brother Rashad was on stage and he opened with something like "last time I was on this stage, it was with my sister Aaliyah".... and at the end, he just couldn't speak...
I saw an Aaliyah tribute on the Late Lick (MTVE) and they showed a phonecall from Aas boyfriend. He was crying and was talking about his sweet angel, and they were going to get married. And have you seen Aa's diary on MTV? it was made one month before the tragical incident. They were in an amusement park. Aa was like "praying for her life" (like Catholics do) before she went on this ride.... quite ironic huh? ...

I'm listening to Aaliyah's cd again... and Rock the Boat is one of my fave... actually... all the songs on "Aaliyah" are great! :bounce:

I don't pretend to be an expert on Aaliyah. But everything I ever saw about her or heard about her, led me to believe she was a first class person. And that's even more important than being talented. Which she was. And still is.

To me, Aaliyah seemed like the nicest star. I guess that came from her soul.

Has anyone seen the movie now playing, Queen Of The Damned.
I haven't and was wondering what peoples opinions are of it.
I can't find movie reviews right now.

Yes it is and I was very disappointed with that. The movie itself isnt all that great, but it was interesting to see her.
