I've booked Tuesday 15 & Wednesday 16 June off work to watch the qualifying rounds (as I've decided to only attend the opening weekend for Eastbourne this year) at Roehampton.
Can someone confirm for me please, that it is only the mens 1st qualifying round on the Monday, and that the ladies don't start until the Tuesday?

It has been like that last year so I guess it will be the same this year. :)

yes just the men on the 14th
Womens starts on the 15th

Wimbledon Player Entry forms are still as tacky as ever
4 pages of cheap A4

All other slams have Glossy Pages, which look 10000 times better.

4 pages? jesus what do they ahve to put on that?

a big contract saying they agree to wear all-white and no shameless advertising?

good choice bp, i'd pick wimbledon qualies over eastbourne any-day so may top quality matches on offer

Yes, I thought Wimbledon qualifying would be a lot more interesting. With Eastbourne only having a 28 main draw, by the middle of the week, there is very little choice of matches. Also the only thing they have on the outer courts by the end of the week are those Oxford V Cambridge varsity matches  and occasionally a veterans match.
It's always been the Eastbourne qualifying that I enjoy most anyway, and this means I get the best of both worlds

I'm glad to hear the LTA aren't being too extravagant with the entry forms, we know how poor the association are :haha:

actually its 8 pages (4 sheets of A4)
just
front page tourn name with date, committee management names  :o
Page 2 : Hours of play and attendance
followed by Condition of Entry and Participation which ends on Sheet 5 :o
Sheet 6 is names of events and the usual blah, blah "the winner will become the holder, for the year only, of the Challenge Trophy, presented by the AELTC in 1886"

for each of the 5 events :o

Sheet 7 is the tacky Entry Form (yes its detachable  )
Sheet 8 is blank :o
