Elena decided to play Charleston. She is the sixth seed here. We can discuss about everything regarding Elena in this tournament here.

All the best Elena. :smooch:

I too wish Elena the best, although I was shocked to see her name in the draw!

Good luck Elena, it is very stacked in Charleston, and she has Navratilova and Schnyder in her path.

Elena needs to be healthy, so I hope she only plays if she can! :)

Hi! North and DEE, :bigwave:

Elena also plays doubles with Sprem. I think it's a good sign cuz this means she is healthy enough to play both singles and doubles.

yeah but why not with Lina (oops no discussion about that here :o)

Why not? It's Elena's concern. http://wtaworld.com/ubb/cool.gif

With Momo's withdrawal, if Elena gets to the QFs, she will play Lindsay instead.

That's still not too bad a draw...
Elena usually troubles Lindsay... :)

Yes, Bubby. Tomorrow, Elena will play doubles with Sprem. It's good cuz she can get used to the surface before her 1st singles match on Wednesday.

Good luck, Elena. http://wtaworld.com/images/smilies/hug.gif

Strange that Elena retired in a match last week, and now she plays singles and doubles.
Does that mean she feels great?

Yeah, that's strange. Maybe, the injury isn't that serious. Or, ys could be right cuz Elena must be tired from playing a lot of tennis. It's better if ys is right. I wouldn't like to see Elena play with any injury.

Come on,Lena!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wonder that as well. However, like you said, they've got a good result. And, Lina K. and Vera Z have had good results, so it's all good for them.

Good luck tomorrow, Elena.

Congrats Elena!! only 6 DF's  wow she's working hard on her serve and it really pays off!! i did expect her to one the first round but who's she playing next??

we must take one match at a time aight?! we as fans will do it, and when she wins the next matches, we must not look so very very far in the draw and if if if if Lena reaches the QF she won't face Momo but we have to take things patiently with Lena we'll see :D

Good luck Lena in the next match(es)!!! :bounce: You Go Girl!!!

Moo :bigwave: are you still out there??

Today it was a varying day for me, Good news is that Lena is thru! :D :woohoo: but the bad news for me is that several favs were eliminated in several tournaments  so turns a really really happy day :D (after reading that Alina has defeated Suarez :D and Lena thru ofcourse ;) and Klara Koukalova thru to the QF in Estoril after defeating 7th seed Srebotnik :woohoo: ) into a nightmare  (especially with the losses of Lina With Lina i was it take into account  . and Sprem lost i never expect it from her i'm really mad about that i didn't count on it  :fiery: :speakles: :shout: and also Bovina lost in Estoril earlier today :fiery: ) so that's how i feel right now i got a really great happy feeling :woohoo:  and a really mad bad feeling :explode: :shout: . after reading that Lina had lost, i also read that K-lina lost so i was about to cry. :sobbing: :hysteric:

I am here North :bigwave:

Yeah, I am glad Elena won :D. I hope she will do well again tomorrow. I will take one match at a time like you said. I was sad that Elena B. and Lina K. lost:sobbing:. I like both of them. Especially Elena B., it was so close:mad: . I guess Elena B. has not had match tough yet, so she might be so tired playing a long match.

I also like Sprem. She can still try her best in doubles with Elena though. I like this pair as well. If Elena breaks up with Lina K., she can play doubles with Sprem. They are a cute team. :hearts:  Plus, Lina K. and Vera Z. seems to do well together. It's all good, right?

Mathijs
Apr 14th, 2004, 09:01 PM
yeah it's alright with me now i'm always that kind of sad everytime when my favs lose
and it's all good!!! :D thanks for your concern :)

I've already coped with the slump of Lina :D she won a match that's a start for her at least she knows now the smell of winning again :D things will turn around soon!! well I hope Lena and K-lina will win the doubles title although i think it's impossible. at least Lena D. isn't injured at her hip and serves really well!

Lena B. did well after her injury okay she was seeded first but you have to give her the time after such a nagging injury. I think she will do it good soon. yeah Lina and Vera are a good team and also just like K-lina and Lena cute :hearts:

BTW Gotta go, have a driverslesson to do and some other stuff to do (i must give in a application for a vocational training with a job, just like i told you remember?!) , so i must get a good rest cuz at the previous driverslesson i wasn't good awake. not that i made some accidents or something   Talk Later bye....

Back for short (never say never   ) Lena lost pretty unexpected 36 16 against Patty Schnyder  :fiery:. I think she didn't serve well again... :tears: :crying2:But i'm patient with Lena loss or no loss i still be a die-hard fan!! :bounce: i'm off now bye :wavey:
