Good luck tomorrow.

Nadia has done great in these few weeks. I hope she will keep up the great form. It will pay off. I am sure she will win her first tournament soon.

Davenport proves why she was once the #1 not too long ago, that return still rocks good win, too bad for Petrova its another lesson she'l have to review and study over and over again. For Gods sakes placement counts for something when serving, but anyways way to go for Lindsay, Mauresmo better watch out shes a better clay courter than Petrova but Lindsays return of serve is awesome on any serve when its on.

I have never seen Lindsay hits her groundies this good specially in the third set!!!!

By the way, I was also amazed by Nadia's serve, its so lethal, thank God Lindsay finds a way to return it!!!!!!

Great Match!!!!

Exactly...and once Lindsay fiqured out her serve pattern she was returning her big serves with authority.

Also, Lindsay starting putting a lil extra behind her shots and moving into the court and Nadia was toast.

Yes, I saw that too. Lindsay was so determined today. She deserved to win the match. I never saw her talk to herself the way she did today.

When I was watching the match live, I thought that Nadia was playing out of her mind tennis, and that Lindsay was just playing normally. After rewatching the match, I realized that Nadia was playing well, but Lindsay was not at all being agressive. Once the lightbulb in Lindsay's head turned on and she became agressive, it was over.

And when she was trying to be aggressive, she was missing. Lindsay definitely seemed intimidated at first by her hard-hitting opponent, but she did a very good job to weather the storm, pick up on weaknesses and uncertainties in Petrova's game, and take advantage with some fine aggression.
