I was sitting here thinking, Venus is not up to the Potential we're use to....What's wrong? Then I began to say, Foot_Fault, you're a sports JUNKIE, you know the Meaning of SPORT and the Rollercoaster of Sport. Confused? Ok, let me explain.

From 1997-2002 Tiger Woods DOMINATED the golfing world, created such a precentage and point gain, he was Way ahead of the field. Unfortunately, 2003...He had a terrible year (by Tiger's Standards), didn't win a Major, and only a couple of Big Tournaments, but we all know, it's the Majors that they all Gun for. Questions we're raised, is the mystic gone? has the genuis of his game dissolved? Tiger, even in 2004...has yet to recapture that mystic(he will be able to prove Beginning Thursday). He will be able to answer his critics, who still crown him, Mr. Golf.

The Lakers...From 2000-2002 they won 3 championships...Three Peat...Last year...2003 (SAME TEAM) Same enthusiasm...LOST!!! All of a sudden, the Lakers are Finish, something is Wrong, They're Dynasty is no more. We were quick to write them off. Now, with the Kings Slumping somewhat, and Having the T'wolves # and the Spurs dealing with a few Injuries, we all of a sudden, with all 4 big players in the game, saying, it's there championship to lose.

That brings me to the "ONLY" media dubbed Queen of Tennis,(winning or not)..Venus Williams. Dominated the Game For 2000-2002, and I am adding 2002 b/c she made it to EVERY Slam final, a feat worth mentioning. She suffered injuries, physically and emotionally, going through a break-up, starting and maintaining a business, and dealing with the demands of being more than just a Tennis Player but an "A-List" Celebrity. She's played 4 Tournaments...and Critics, even "SOME" of her fans have written her off....

This is SPORTS...and on ANY GIVEN SUNDAY......things happen, Tides Turn, and our sports Hero's Evolve and return to Greatness (i.e. Michael Jordon 1998).

Venus will rise again, as I also feel Tiger will and Given they Stay together, the Lakers. It's SPORT, you compete, you Win, you Lose.....you go through Slumps...and the Passion re-ignites your game b/c of your familarity with greatness (i.e. Andre Agassi).

We are quick to COMPARE....to or based off of...and we have to understand SPORT...once we get that understanding, we can be patient and know that Their star will shine Bright again, Those Andre Fans we're Patient, Those, Goran Fans we're Patient, I say the same to Hewitt, Tiger, Lakers, and Venus Fans.

They haven't forgot how to when, Just facing obstacles that are hindering the path somewhat. It will work out.

I WILL NEVER GIVE UP ON "MY" Venus Williams.

If the drive and Passion is there...The WILL To WIN is as well.

Love u Venus:hearts:

Only Venus can answer that, and Her winning again, won't be the answer to that question, b/c she is just THAT good, her desires may be channeled in other areas....Richard said last year..."When Venus put her MIND to it, there is NO One, Not even Serena, can Beat her." I believe him, he hasn't been wrong before. And we all can see the Mind isn't really there...when it comes back I will be happy, until then, I am patient.

But he also said that in the end Serena would be the better player.

How many times have the Better players LOST to people that just Refused to LOSE?

Any Given Sunday....has minimal to do with Being Better..
