Serena has the longest current match streak on the WTA as you know (13 matches :worship: ). How long do you think she can extend it?? Can she beat her personal best of 21 matches in a row??

her winning streak stopped last yr right here in Amelie Island, if she beat Justine, then she'll probably go unbeaten for a long long time, but if she cant, then it'll be Steffi vs Monica all over again.

it was actually in charleston, and lets hope she goes unbeaten for a very long time!!

that's right, thx for reminding me, but it's the same week though, anyways,
let's see if Serena will lose in the final to Justine after winning Miami like 2003

I think she would be hard pressed to win her first TWO tourneys back.. especially since this is on clay.. her worst and justine's BEST surface (NOT that i'm conceding the two of them into the final.. really I'm not..)...

Just so long as Serena gets to be Steffi, Justine can be Monica.... ;)

actually Monica was the American who beat Steffi the European all the time until she was injured and Steffi was able to win a lot of slams like Justinedid.
Monica then came back and win her first tournament before falling to Steffi in the slam final. so i guess it'll be the other way around. Serena tho still has to go up against a top 5 player before we can actually assess where she really is.

She will not keep her streak long for now, but later on, watch out for her!
