What do you al think Amelie will make of her comeback on the green clay? Its very disapointing because she always builds a headof steam and gets hurt like Wimbledon last year and this year at Australia. Im not sure what to expect, i remember after the intercostal after wimbldeon she was not plaing great. she eventually picekd it up, and i hope she doenst start slow after this. I think shes got a nice chance to take in this title or maybe the Family Circle Cup next week!! Allez Amelie!!

Stranger things have happened, but I think the odds of Momo winning either title (especially with everything she's been through physically and emotionally since January) are very, very slim. Mind you, I made a similar call about Serena a few weeks ago and I was dead wrong, but I don't think I will be this time.

I'd love to see it happen, but honestly I'm happy just to see her back on court and will consider it an accomplishment if she leaves the tournaments healthy.

Why does Amelia have all these back problems? I will admit I don't like her personally but as a player she is okay

I suspect Amelie may struggle in her comeback like Venus and Jen have done simply because of the nature of her injury. Compare Serena and Lindsay in their comebacks, both had knee injuries out for 6 to 8 months and both made semis or better in their return. Venus, Jen and Amelie have had problems in their mid section which means all exercise and training could be pretty tough. practising the serve is almost impossible. Even running can be very painful, i know this coz i have had back problems myself. Kim says with her current injury she can practise almost every aspect of her game except the backhand.
It may take a little longer for Amelie to get back to form but it is very exciting, the injured are slowly but surely returning. Just Kim, Myskina to go (don't seem too serious) and of course chanda.

Best of luck to Amelie. After all she's been through, injury-wise, she definitely deserves a break now. She's one of the most talented players out there (I put her right up there with Justine).

I don't think she'll be "better than ever" and win it all... specially after everything she had to deal with for the last couple of months, but she is playing again and that's good enough for me! :) Just stay fit, please!

It is beyond me how Momo is ranked #3 with all her injuries...imagine what would happen if she was healthy

I still think Loic Courteau has failed To Teach Momo "when to hit what". New coach, girl.

You know I do not believe she is going to struggle, I have her in the finals that's how good I think she is, I also do not feel that she was just lying around all this time she had to be working out and getting ready for the clay season so she is going to be ready

She'll probably make the semi's...but I'm still a little bit skeptical if she is really returning..we'll have to see.
