Congrats to Sarah :)
She was the only of the top 4 going in, to not faulter in her program.
She went out and skated the skate of her life, and deserves this as much as anyone.
Right before the performance I started leaning towards Irina, wanting her to win - I was sorry when she touched on that one landing :(
But the best skater won tonight.

I'm am soo pissed off...Sarah skates the program of her life and i missed it! I only saw the last minute or so and the crowd was cheering like mad, so it really must have been good.
My stupid brother kept me away coz he needed help with his homework *wanders of muttering expletives*
Anyway congrats to Sarah :)

She took advantage of skating before Sasha, Michelle and Irina. And she was tremendous. Which as NBC commentator Sandra Bezcic alluded to, would put alot of pressure on the top 3 skaters. Pressure as it turned out, they couldn't quite handle. Especially Michelle.
What is it about young girls winning the gold medal? Tara Lipinski was only 15 when she won in Nagano. And Sarah Hughes is only 16. That is amazing.
