Lol! If you're going to enjoy curling you might as well go all the way. Go on...have a Rhona avatar, you know you want to!:p

Anyway, back to the gripping show of skill that is currently adorning my tv, did you know that GBR's pre-tournament odds of winning the curling were 33/1? Ladbrokes had to cut it to 7/1 after they reached the semis to avoid losing too much money!

:bounce: WoooHooo!:bounce:

GBR won! It was 3-3 at the start of the 10th end, and a well placed stone from Rhona on her last turn knocked out the Swiss stone to take the gold.

Congrats on taking home Britain's 2nd ever Winter Olympic gold medal!

Congrats Britain (or shall I say Scots) on a brilliant victory and take the deservedly gold medal. I am fed up with people saying how piss easy this sport is to take up. If it is so easy, I think you all should go and try it out before degrading all the hard work those people put on this sport. But I have to say when I watch the final round of the competition, it was pretty exciting stuff haha

Absolutely brilliant from the girls, I thought they were going to be the usual glorious Scottish failures, but they proved me wrong, absolutely superb :):)

Made even better it was all Scots, makes it all the more better for me!! :D ;)

Well done girls!!!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Actually, it's not the Scots who fail, it's the English, like Tim Henman, and Canadians, like Rusedski. :p

[ducking to avoid the swipes from the English and Canadians!]

Ted of Teds Tennis: Have you seen the Scottish soccer team? I guess not!!!

*ducks inevitable brickbats from Scottish posters*

Anyway, well done GB and of course Scotland. It was a really enthralling final and I have to say, it was a weird moment when they played the National Anthem because I wondered if the team (being Scots and all) would appreciate it!

But once again Yay, Team GB.

I think she might have played in one of the earlier matches ( but don't quote me on that!)

Pretty easy way to win an Olympic medal though!
