Hantuchova and Dokic both recieve byes in round 1, in the second round Hantuchova will either play a qualifier or 367th ranked American Jamea Jackson. Dokic's draw is slightly tougher with either Russian Tatiana Panova, whom despite a ranking of 1061 is definately a threat to the top players or Garcia, the Spanish veteran at 30 years of age whom has had her most success on clay. If they get through their fist matches (which i believe they will) they will be playing off for a fourth round appearance which will definately help the struggling girls to find their confidence which has gone astray in recent times! Hopefully both girls can find that confidence and reach that level of game we know they can achieve!
