I thought I'd start a thread for Janet! I read on one of these threads that she may retire near the end of 2004? If anyone has information on this i would appreciate it?
She's only like 27 or so, she could play more, maybe get better! :hearts:

I saw her play in St. Paul $50k ans I was really impressed. She's very talented and has really solid groudstrokes. I hope she has more singles success.

Yet another 3 setter loss for Janet yesterday in Indian Wells qualifying to the number 5 seeded Eva Birnerova (6-4 3-6 6-2), a tough Czech. I hope Janet can get a good draw for the Orange challenger next week, she has horrible luck with draws, usually getting difficult opponents 1st rd (in my opinion)

Poor Janet.
She's certainly had her fair share of very bad draws this year. :fiery:
Fingers crossed "lady luck" will be on her side in Miami. :)

Well Janet will missed qualifying now, she and Kostanic are in 2nd rd agains 2 seed Kuznetsova and Likhovtseva. Lee/Kostanic havent played since thursday and will now play sunday. I doubt they can pull this one off, especially since they've never teamed together before, but anything is possible. I just wish janet could have played the challenger :(
