Well, in the last couple of weeks we had a lot of Israeli action on the circuit, but the only ones worth mentioning is Peer in Hyderabad and Savransky and Bargil in Portugal. So here are the players, plus updated results, in action this week:

1) Tzipora Obziler - USTA St. Paul 50K
2) Shahar Peer - ITF Bendigo 25K qualies
3) Danielle Steinberg - ITF Gran Canaria 10K qualies
Steinberg is likely to play doubles.

Shahar Peer continues her amazing run this year...
her W/L record (Juniors+Women) after reaching 3r in Bendigo qualies:
11/1 (juniors)
4/1 (WTA)
2/0 (ITF)

total comes to 17 wins to just 2 loses: one to Ana Ivanovic in Melbourne (Grade 1) and the other to Tamarine Tanasugarn in Hyderabad.

and what's up with Steinberg? she couldn't qualify in the last 3 tournaments!
Mallorca 1: r1 qualies
Mallorca 2: r2 qualies
Gran Canaria: r3 qualies (i think she's 2nd LL at the list at the moment)

hopefully she woudl get direct acceptance into he next tournament - Ramat Hasharon.

by the way, do you think Shahar will play Ramat Hasharon, given her ranking that doesn't really suits the level in the tourney, and given her statement "i'm going up a level, and i'll start competing 50K's? I don't think she should. she can focus on the Tier 5 qualies in the clay season. and her not being in RamatSharon will give Savransky a chance... that girl really needs to wake up!!!
