She did it again.

The sweet girl with the bitter taste !!!

Everybody's calling her sweet. But it's the 100th time she gives undirect
criticism on Justine Henin.
I think the standings are 100 - 0 in Kim's favour. Never heard Justine saying something bad about Kim.
Why is Kim always gving Justine such a hard time? Proove it on court and not off-court.
It's more and more clear that's she's Lei's daughter ;)

Shame on you Kim. I thought you had more respect for your opponents.

1.KIm-fan
2.Objective Belgians-fan (both Kim and Juju-fan)
3.Still a Belgiansfan, but deep down my heart a little bit more fan of Justine (mainly because of her game but also becaus she was losing all the time against Kim =>support for the underdog)
4.Justine-fan,but when Kim is playing against any other player but Justine I support her.
5.Diehard Juju-fan,starting to seriously dislike Kim =>first time I was supporting against her when she wasn't playing Justine.

Question of the journalist and Kim smiling again and again: oh "you know I had a sour throat, bla bla bla, I would retire in a match only if I broke a leg after Rosmalen last year", " there were too many false rebounds after Rosmalen 2001, She does it in every match after San Diego.

The whole week you are hypocritizing the VRT for being subjective and saying things out of the context and now you do just the same thing. She only said she had some sore throat and VRT teleteXt makes of it that is a bitchy remark towards Justine.
Apply the case to everybody then instead of only saying that VRT says things out of the context when it is about Justine.

You all forget that it is about tennis here, not about creating fights.

Can Kim say anything without it being seen as a dig at Justine?

I saw the interview on TV, there was nothing wrong with it. Carl just asked Kim whether she had any injuries during the tournament, Kim said no, not really, she had a bit of a sore throat, that's all. Kim said that she thinks she's already had her share of injuries at the beginning of the year so she hopes that she can be injury-free for the rest of the season.

Apparently NOT! Kim is not a saint, but she's the closest we have in the WTA tour. Her words could be taken as a joke on JHH, but I don't think it was her intention. Sometimes you just say things that could have second meanings without you realizing at first. Besides, this is just a sentence taken out of context

I was in the Sportpaleis this afternoon (I just came back home!), and Kim knew exactly what she was saying! A lot of people in the Sportpaleis laughed and applaused because everyone had understood who she was talking about...
For me it sure looked like it was an "unnecessary comment", but of course maybe I'm a bit biased because I'm a big fan of Justine!

Maybe it was only a joke, but it was a disguised attack against Justine... I didn't really care, but I can understand some people's reactions here...

Secondly, I still believe that it was a comment sounding like: "look at me, I'm here to save the tournament even though I had a sore throat"...

Anyway, interviews after a tournament win are usually uninteresting, because you usually hear the same crap: "oh yeah, it's the best tournament I've ever played in, the city is beautiful, the crowd was amazing, and I'll be there next year!"

First I didn't like the colour of her outfit, then later, I started to worry that the colour might show her political preference and since mine is the opposite, I took offense. Then later, I began to think that maybe that colour was supposed to be a dig at my favourite and when I noticed my fav was wearing a different colour, I became convinced.

The first two books of the self-help group ('How to Unclench Your Teeth When She Opens Her Mouth' and 'Thou Shallt Not Judge Before Thou Hath Seen') didn't help much.

Oh you guys, I'm sorry. I definetly didn't mean that comment like that. Ii wasn't my intend to compare kim or kim fans ( neither Justine or her fans) to Bush or Hussein. It wasn't meant to be taken seriously. :)
Sorry, if I offended anyone!!!

Seriously you guys, just lighten up a bit. This thread is so funny! Keep it coming.

anyone who thinks Kim did this to slander Justine:

Stop being so pathetic!

I was there at the time Kim said it, and I'm more than 100% certain she didn't even know why we (the public) laughed and clapped so hard...

why do some of you always search for the bad things in things that are meant well..?

get a life will you :rolleyes:She didn't know why people laughed? What is she, childish? (Please don't take what I just said too seriously, it's only a little joke for Come-on-Kim, what do you think of that one, does it make you laugh too? :p  )

How about having an AA-meeting? Hello, my name is ....and I'm oversensitive. It all seemed quite innocent in the beginning.

Because she has had a rather serious ankle problem and has played two weeks in a row. I think it's rather normal to say..... How's it going physically?

And she wasn't asked if she was injured, she was asked if she had any physical problems.

But if you look at it rationally, one who is concerned about her might well ask her that question.

If there's one player that is always dissed here : then Justine wins the award ! (Almost) whatever Justine does is bad to the Justine-haters (and there are many)!

If you believe that noone would have blame Justine for saying what Clijsters said, then either you're silly, or you're optimistic/idealist (or maybe, you're new on this forum).
