Well we saw a lot of doubles today..

Augustus and Grandin were first up...poor Amanda was really struggling in the first set, missing a lot of returns, many volleys..but they looked like they were having fun at least ;) Amanda is super nice..Aceman I got your shirt and told her it was for you and she said "awww" and then put your name on it :)

Panova vs. Grande...Panova has gotten almost a Capriati type build...she looks overweight but it doesn't seem to be much fat. She really has to work on every point, very very hard, and was just too consistent for Rita. Grande really mixed it up , lots of slices, some moonballs..but as long as Tatiana hung in the point it went her way. That was pretty much teh story even in the first set, except that Tatiana played a horrible TB...after the match i said there were a lot us who were her fans and we're all glad she was back and she just said thank you so much lol she looked exhausted

I didn't see any of Ashley vs. Silvija and only a few games of Frazier vs. Haynes...Amy was nice and signed for all the little kids after

Spears/Granville vs. Talaja/Martinez..pretty entertaining but it was clear Spears and Granville were the real doubles players with their movement and Spears' volleys..

Jidkova/Morigami vs. Tarabini/Dulko...Patricia is still hanging in there, she is really a true doubles player like I remember Zvereva, Fernandez, etc. being..lots of return of serve lobs, lots of movement at the net, cutting off a lot of balls. I've followed her since 1991 and this is the first time I've gotten to see her  so I was happy ;) It was hilarious the first point of the match, Morigami hit a volley into the doubles alley and the linespeson calls "OUT" lol, everybody laughed as she was calling the singles line

Anna Kournikova was there sigining autos today lol, there was a huge line but luckily there were 2 mens matches going on when the line formed so we decided to stand in it and get her auto lol. we will probably be on fox news momentarily haha as they were doing interviews and taking their cameras around the line..oh yeah, i had her sign the media guide and she looked at it and me and goes, what is this, flips to the cover and is like, oh yea the media guide...i thought it was kind of funny that she had no idea what it was even though shes a tennis "pro" lol anna :hearts:

Jankovic vs. Sucha...Jankovic really seemed to be the better player, hitting much harder and flatter and moving Sucha a lot more. Sucha just kind of hung in there and really retrieved well and was aggressive when she needed to be. Jankovic called an injury TO midway through the 2nd set, to retape her thigh that was all wrapped for the whole match. Jankovic would probably win 8 out of 10 but I'm glad this was one of the other 2 since Lindsay plays Martina next ;)
