Not when Lindsay's playing well. Their H2H is about to be 8-0 for Davenport, and many of those matches took place in Dokic's prime. The worst loss for her had to be Stanford '02 when Lindsay was just coming back from injury and she trounced poor Jeca.

as i said, Dokic doesn't try anymore in her matches vs Lindsay. she pushed her to 3 sets at the Australian Open 2001. she met up with her on 4 other accounts, and im pretty sure all of them were at least moderate wins, and some Jelena had put up a fight. everything post 2002 has been a mental raincheck from Jelena and Lindsay walks away with it

Just saw the Davenport-Dokic match on Japanese TV. During the post-match interview, Lindsay said that Jelena was playing hurt (she had her left thigh wrapped). She also said she's had a good week and is looking forward to a good final tomorrow.

I don't know that Jelena tanked, but I was watching her match against Black when I was in Tokyo on Tuesday. She just didn't look that interested in tennis, or at least not as intense as she used to be when Damir was around all the time. She seems to have a new boyfriend in tow--too many off-court distractions?

Hope she gets over her injuries soon. It'd be a pity to see another promising player's career go down the tubes from burnout/injury.
