What's a guest? how can you be one? and what can they not/can do that is different to a member??

Hmm.. I saw a guest post once... and it stood N/T (or something like that as his/her name).

a guest can't post Marri..they have to log in before they can post.

I happen to disagree, a guest can be that someone is loggon but in their preference they click on the icon that say it being not visible to other user that they are online. Then in the 'Who's online' section, you may see someone replying to message but they are actual poster.

no, per4ever is correct.. guests are non-registered visitors viewing the board... Members who choose to be invisible do not appear on the 'who's online' at all

if you see a guest "replying to a topic" it just means that they've attempted to but are only viewing the error message telling them they have to register first.

Oh I see, sorry about the wrong interpretation, thanks for the info.

So that means that there are actually a lot more people reading the board than the guest plus member total suggest, that's impressive. I cannot imagine the bandwidth you guys need for this board.
