#107 - Suicide Bangkok - Everyone out! Champion to be determined later today.

Remember, every choice, whether good or bad, can be deadly...

Suicide Bangkok

2006 Final: No one played last year!

What to Do

Choose ONE winner of ONE singles match EACH day to advance in the tournament. With each correct pick, you make it to the next day and so forth.

Pick Wisely
You may only pick a person once for the ENTIRE tournament, and when you do, you cannot choose them again.
If your pick loses, you are out of Suicide Bangkok.

1.) Remember to make a pick each day, people! And you must pick the winner of the match BEFORE it starts. Any picks after a match has commenced, or zero picks at all for the day, will be counted as incorrect picks and you will no longer be in contention for the fabulous Bangkok trophy.

2.) If your pick withdraws from the event before her match has started, you may have a back-up pick handy to count as your official choice for that day. If your back-up is someone you've chosen earlier in the tournament, seeing as you cannot pick someone in the same event twice, you would be disqualified.

3.) To sign up, just say "In" or any kind of variation implying you have interest in playing my wonderful tournament this week. Saying "Boogers" would suffice.

4.) Oh, and loves, be advised to only play ONE event this week. If you're caught playing that rat bastard event in Stuttgart along with mine, you will get ZERO points for this week and disqualified from both events.

5.) And one last thing: do not edit your posts with your picks after you have posted them. Doing so will get you booted from the event.

Ranking Points for Suicide Bangkok (Tier III)
Code:
DAY 01 - 1
DAY 02 - 9
DAY 03 - 18
DAY 04 - 30
DAY 05 - 100
DAY 06 - 125
DAY 06 - 138 (WITH PICK)
WINNING - 150

In the event that there are atleast 12 people and no one reaches DAY 06,

2nd Place - 85
1st Place - 120

Re: #107 - Suicide Bangkok - Sign up! Be the first suicide Bangkok champion!

MONDAY ORDER of PLAY

DELINQUENT DELLACQUA v. BEAUTIFULLY BAD BREMOND - Dellacqua destroyed Bremond last week, and I would't put it past her to destroy her again this week. Sev's got zero confidence, and Casey's beginning to accumulate more and more wins as the year progresses. Case in straight sets.

CIRSTEA v. "THE BAD" RADWANSKA - Cirstea should pwn Urszula. My god, I thought we had Aga here...oh well!

KOSTANIC TOSIC V. THE LITTLE FRENCH GIRL THAT COULD - Didn't Pin basically eat Kostanic alive last week? Pin isn't particularly consistent, but overall a decent pick for Day01. God knows I wouldn't pick her past Day01.

WOZNIACK V. OLARU - Olaru, in two easy ones. Oh, wait, she likes to choke, maybe in three!

TUESDAY ORDER of PLAY

FLIRTATIOUSLY FLAV v. NOPPAWA-WHO? - I jinxed Sorana and Ioana yesterday, so let's say Noppasomeoneone wins or something.

MELINDA "ORIGNIAL HBIC" CZINK v. SHAHAR PEER - Hell hath no fury like a Melinda Czink. This bitch is mean! Peer should win, and rightfully so--good always prevails.

"I NEVER GO AWAY" GALLOVITS v. TAMMY TANNY - Who the hell is this Edina girl? Why is she playing every week? Particularly, why does she play every event I run as a suicide manager? Hopefully she'll go back to the 50ks where she belongs next week--and that said, I'd LIKE Tanasugarn to win, and I'd FIGURE she'd win, but Tammy just ain't got that "W" spirit no more. A real toss-up.

MEDUSA v. GOLIATH - I hope someone's going to watch this match live so they can give us a detailed report on Rodionova's behavior. I'd figure Rodionova would win, but didn't she have some injury in Guangzhou or something? Akgul's serve may do some damage too. But I'd figure Anastassia in three.

SOLICITOUSLY SALACIOUS SALERNI v. DOMINIKA CIBULKOVA - Again, a youngster is stepping up to the bat, and I fear only the worst! Ioana and Sorana failed miserably...surely Dominika can't make it three in a row. I'll say Cibulkova anyway, though.

I SOMEHOW LOST TO BREM-ER, NAKAMURA v. KOOKIE - Yet another rematch from Tokyo last week, I would imagine like the others this is going to be a repeat victory as well. Losing to Bremond must have put Aiko in a severe depression she simply cannot get out of. Klara in two.

OLGA PUCZKOWA v. ANNE KREMER - Kremer. Easy. I wouldn't put too much thought into Olga's win last week.

GIANT-KILLER RAZZANO v. DOMINGUEZ LINO - After Kirilenko's amazing two weeks in a row in Kolkata and Seoul, she burned out in the first round of her next event. Dominguez Lino blows but...don't be surprised if this is an upset of caliente proportions. Still, you gotta go with Razzy baby!

I'd pick Zakopalova or Kremer for this Day02 match-up.

WEDNESDAY ORDER of PLAY

CRAYBAS V. KING -

JANKOVIC V. YIN YANG YOO YAN - Interesting match up, although Jankovic pretty much pwns all the Asian girls. Let's hope Yan makes the upset!

QUEEN VENUS, EMPRESS OF THE UNIVERSE v. WOZNIACKI - I'm a little worried about Venus. She done played like shit the past two weeks, but still made a final and won a title. Will her crappiness continue? This will be these two's third meeting this year, and Woz has pushed her tough both times. Caro may break out tonight.

RYBARIKOVA v. CHING CHONG CHAN - Davai Chan?

PRINCESS PENNETTA v. DELICIOUSLY DOUR DELLACQUA - Should be a routine win for Flav. She's done so well the past few weeks, look for her to continue her streak against the #3 Aussie.

ZAKOPALOVA v. PIN - I knew Klara would win, poor Aiko. She really must be down. But this is actually a pretty decent match of two top 100 players, it's tough to call a winner as both deserve to be one, but I'd probably put more money on Klara.

I got...7/8 right yesterday!

Re: #107 - Suicide Bangkok - Sign up! Be the first suicide Bangkok champion!

The Seeds

Venus Williams

After a successful run in both Seoul and Tokyo, gaining the champion vase in Seoul and runner-up plate in Tokyo, Venus Williams looks to make three finals in a row in wonderful ole Bangkok! She done got her work cut out though. Her first round is against extremely talented Caroline Wozniacki, who has pushed her both previous times they've played. Edina Gallovits and Camille Pin would be her likely 2R and QF opponents respectively, but she would meet her first big test in the semifinal against the wily Shahar Peer. In the final, her main WTA rival at the moment, Jelena Jankovic. She's got her work cut out for her in Bangkok--this is easily her toughest draw in her three Asian events, but look for her to at least be in the finals!

Jelena Jankovic

Oh, Jankolicious! Playing her umpteenth week of the year, she has a fairly easy ride to the final, her first since Beijing, and with her best chance to win a title since the one she took in the image above, in Birmingham. Jankovic has a tough first rounder against Zi Yan, but Yan is just a tad inconsistent. If Jelena gets through that test, it's a breeze to the final, although not without interesting match-ups against Dominika Cibulkova in the quarterfinal or Virginie Razzano/Agnieska Radwanska/Sorana Cirstea in the semifinal. Who DOESN'T want a Jankovic/Venus final though?

Shahar Peer

I love this girl! Very talented, very feisty, very very good. Although she won't be the main focus in this stacked TIII event, Peer is one of the sub-favorites to potentially take the title, or at least go far. Her most interesting match-up prospect is against Flavia Pennetta--whom she would potentially meet in the quarterfinal. Since Flavia's lost to the eventual champion in her past three events, Shahar will be hoping she makes it to the semifinal. Her match against Venus in the Memphis final this year was pretty one-sided, but she will be looking for a slice of revenge, and who knows, we may just get another Peer/Williams Sister classic in the making.

Virginie Razzano

This bitch is dangerous I tell you!!!! Aside from the US Open, she's made the quarterfinals in every event she's entered since like. LA. She real good, and full of confidence, I'd expect a few more match wins for Virginie this week. Do not be surprised if she makes another great run to the final! Her match against Cirstea would be her biggest hurdle until the semis, likely.

UNSEEDED n' LOOMIN'

IOANA RALUCA OLARU

SORANA CIRSTEA

CAROLINE WOZNIACKI

I love ALL of you.

But I can't do Bangkok this week. Doing suicide a third week in a row with no livescoring board would drive me BATTY$u)#(%u+#)(
