sony ericsson colors - purple on the inside, green on the outside
i almost threw up when i saw them this morning (yes, you can see the ball better as a player, but the colors look TERRIBLE)

Re: warning: the courts are purple and green this year

I played a Tournament there in January and only the Grandstand was purple! It was kind of neat. It left a purple souvenir on my shoes It was so cool playing on the courts where this big Tournament is held
Are all the courts purple?

Re: warning: the courts are purple and green this year

yup, all of the courts are purple. when i was there in january, it was only court 1 (i didn't walk over to the grandstand) and i was hoping that they were just trying out the color

it is really good for playing on, especially when the sun is bright. however, i much prefer the green courts when it comes to looking good. especially because it's miami and, well, everything is green

ugh, why do they all suck????????

You have got to be kidding me, is this for real, are you serious. Not that I think you are lying croat123, but I really liked the all green courts like in 2004. Are the purple courts fast or slow?

I like old colors of Key Biscayne... I like US Open Series courts new color, but I like that an event like Miami and some other tournaments save all green court.

Ok, I guess if the players can see the ball better...

I don't think I'll care for the colors, but will reserve final judgement when I see them in person.

Thanks for the info!
